It doesn't start phasing out until $75k of income, in the vast majority of the country, that's pretty decent money.

I would have to think that $600 amount would be a slap in the face to someone who is working reduced hours who hasn't been able to keep up with their rent or buy food for their family, while their neighbor who hasn't lost any income can use it to go buy a new toy or whatever they want. But I'm sure that is one reason they keep calling it a stimulus rather than relief for Covid 19.
