Sorry to hear that. I would follow up to get your money back and note the serial number issue. Talk to the store manager. I got a fake one off of Craig's for under $100. I couldn't believe that they paired correctly but they don't behave correctly either.

Tried to place an order online for pick up today and called to say they don't have them in stock at the store. Furthermore, they can't tell me which stores do have them in stock (despite the website claiming it's in stock at the store that called me as well)

Yeah. Thanks. Good suggestion. I will try again. Everything looks so close for the fake one. I tried to talk to Meijer customer service at the local and online store. They refused and said I can only do it with Apple. Then, contacted Apple and told them my serial number. They said I got a replaced one and recommended me to buy their product from an authorized reseller in the future ... Some guys got the money back from Meijer in the previous post. For me, I am not really good at arguing with those guys and I was tired after several tries.
