Apparently it only looks at BofA cards. Where as the Chase 5/24 rule looks at any credit card issued to you, regardless of which company issued it to you.
Edit: Adding the 7/12 and 3/12 rules for BofA higher up to this comment.
"7/12 and 3/12 rule"
"According to this rule, customers with a BofA deposit account will not be approved for new cards if they've opened seven cards (across all issuers) in the last 12 months, while customers without a BoA deposit account will be rejected if they've opened three or more cards in the last 12 months."

I find the boosted 5.25% pretty hard to beat
Capital one cards are decent, the only card can easily generate the virtual card nowadays....
Loved BoA cards previous "ShopSafe" for virtual cards, the feature gone made me sad.

Technically if you're a large enough customer, you get 5.25% CB once the actual deposit is made and the 75% bonus is factored in. Not bad for a zero fee card.
I also don't like how they hand over their account user's information and purchases for it to be profiled. No thank you.

Bank of American has never approved me for anything. Not sure if it's because I've never done any business with them in my entire life?

Also, linking to a clown such a biased terrible incompetent news network like FoxNews and Tucker Carlson should take things with a grain of salt. Nobody in their right mind can call FoxNews a "news" network. Its no wonder this country has issues, people are stupid enough to watch Fox News.
Are you the first person to notice FoxNews is biased towards the right? What a tool. We need both the right and left media to get a better picture of what's going on because both sides love ignoring stories detrimental to their causes. If you want to live in your idealistic bubble, only listen to one side of the story.
If instead you want to be constructive, by all means, do your own research and share your conclusions/experience with BAC.
