1. Moving from google voice to fi might not work. I bought a Boost mobile number on eBay.
2. Get the phone, activate it and use it for a few calls. Remove the SIM and put it away for 90 days. Do not use the SIM in another phone. Cancel or port out after 90 days.
3. Get a referral code to save $20 (That didnt work for me). However I have my code which I can share if needed.
4. Total cost after 90 days: $400 for phone, $25 taxes, $75 for 3 months bill, $10 for number porting = $510

I said "about" in reference to his "$510" - there's this website called eBay where S20s go for the low 500's. That plus a cheaper $10-15 Mint Mobile SIM that actually gives you data unlike this Fi $10/GB nonsense - and I just don't see the point of this "deal".
I used to have Fi - service was awful and the service charges would bloat up and be more than expected with no recourse. By all means, pay more for less. Enjoy.

You can still sell your old phone if you want to.

Also, you don't have to keep the phone on Fi. You can switch to Mint or whatever other carrier you like. That is what makes this a deal.
