Wow great deal. You could use the S20 as a stepping stone to the S21 by trading it in next year. You may even get more than $400 trade in credit.

It's unlocked, but you need to stay in fi for 90 days to get your $600 discount

First buy a $1 triple sim kit from Best Buy or the likes, then make an online account on Tracfone and choose the "basic" $10 plan and not the "smartphone" plan. I forgot if you need to put them sim in an unlocked phone for verification codes etc, I forgot. Then you can set up a pin, your account number is your last 15 numbers of your sim if you use the ATT or TMO sim.

No trade in worth anything. Move along, nothing to see here. Also, get 3 numbers for $5 on tello if you have a sprint Sim and phone, search reddit or something

Can I use this right away on T-Mobile but keep the Google Fi account active for 90 days on another phone? What is the cheapest Fi plan?
No. It must remain active on the S20 you buy. If you move Fi off the phone, you'll get charged the full price.

google voice port - yes or no?
I ported a GV number for the 4a 5G promo and it worked fine. Promo has 22 days left to be satisfied.

Can this be traded in for the S21? Samsung site says it will offer $700 for trading in S20. I can just leave the Google Fi SIM in my desk and don't mind paying the bill for 3 months.

Based on what I have gathered so far:

1. Moving from google voice to fi might not work. I bought a Boost mobile number on eBay.
2. Get the phone, activate it and use it for a few calls. Remove the SIM and put it away for 90 days. Do not use the SIM in another phone. Cancel or port out after 90 days.
3. Get a referral code to save $20 (That didnt work for me). However I have my code which I can share if needed.
4. Total cost after 90 days: $400 for phone, $25 taxes, $75 for 3 months bill, $10 for number porting = $510

Which is pretty much what you can buy a S20 outright for now, and even less in a few weeks when the S21 is unveiled.

This is an elaborate ruse.

They look pretty poor. Only %75 for my wife's S9 in mint condition. Better to sell it on Swappa.

Where can I buy a new unlocked S20 for $500 for taxes included with full US warranty?

No clue, because I didn't say "about $500".

I said "about" in reference to his "$510" - there's this website called eBay where S20s go for the low 500's. That plus a cheaper $10-15 Mint Mobile SIM that actually gives you data unlike this Fi $10/GB nonsense - and I just don't see the point of this "deal".

I used to have Fi - service was awful and the service charges would bloat up and be more than expected with no recourse. By all means, pay more for less. Enjoy.
Please show me some listings that are brand new, will offer warranty and cost "About" $510 tax included on ebay.

Thanks for your help. Could you post a link to an eBay listing for new S20 for about $510?

That doesn't make this not a good deal. $399 for a brand new unlocked s20.

You can still sell your old phone if you want to.

I don't see any new unlocked s20's in the low 500's. Are we comparing new prices to used prices here?

Also, you don't have to keep the phone on Fi. You can switch to Mint or whatever other carrier you like. That is what makes this a deal.
