You can still sell your old phone if you want to.
I don't see any new unlocked s20's in the low 500's. Are we comparing new prices to used prices here?
Also, you don't have to keep the phone on Fi. You can switch to Mint or whatever other carrier you like. That is what makes this a deal.
Google Fi uses T-Mobile and Sprint networks but didn't they just merge recently to create super network for T-Mobile, so my current T-Mobile is already like Google Fi.
I do like the bigger screen on the 7T though. But the S20 brings a lot more feature.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Activated it with a new number. Gonna give it a few hours then call in to get my account info for port out and jump on this deal.
I also just checked Tmobile, Verizon, and AT&T websites for port out eligibility and they all confirm to be good to go so I'm assuming Fi is good for porting into also.
Speak of the devil. Just complained about the horny beast and he rears his head. Good question tho I'm not sure if the free sim is required. I'm hoping someone will chime in. I'm not trying to figure out if I can root this one. Sounds like only the exynos version is rootable per::

I said "about" in reference to his "$510" - there's this website called eBay where S20s go for the low 500's. That plus a cheaper $10-15 Mint Mobile SIM that actually gives you data unlike this Fi $10/GB nonsense - and I just don't see the point of this "deal".
I used to have Fi - service was awful and the service charges would bloat up and be more than expected with no recourse.
By all means, if you want to pay more for less, give Fi your credit card. Enjoy.
