I know the feeling I wish the used reddits thread method or at least have the option to see it that way.

When I bought phone on promo with FI last time the FI app tracked if I was using the phone on same Fi number if I switched then it did not count those days towards the promo period

now in my case I only had one Fi line but if you have two Fi lines and if you swap devices between two Fi lines then my guess is that the Fi app will tell you if its ok or not
just look under the promotions section in the app
just to be clear i understood this right, when you took fi sim out of promo phone, the promo days stopped counting, and they restarted when you put it back in the phone? doesnt make much sense as you could have the fi sim in the phone and keep the phone off (like i do) and days are still counting.

I'm sure ArtofZen meant when you put your FI SIM in another phone the countdown stops.
You can always see the countdown on the FI website under Billing.

Now, his statement brings an interesting point. That we may be able to put the FI SIM on different phones, and not lose the discount. Just need to keep the Plan beyond the 90 days so it completes the countdown.

At least 2 different people have reported that this will void the promotion.

Not true. If you use the FI sim in other device, you will get the charge on your credit card and no one will help you since Fi sim swapped from original device and it will void the promo.

What will happen if you take the Fi SIM out, use the phone with another SIM from different carrier, and put the Fi SIM back after couple days or couple weeks? Will that void the promotion or count down continues?

I don't know. Some people report that taking Fi SIM out and using another one for 90 days is fine. Others report this will be a problem.

The only thing that everyone seems to agree on is that you can't put the Fi sim in another phone during the promotion period.

Yes correct. We have tracker under billing and it will show how many days are remaining.

This isn't the Verizion mmWave version, so it should work for 4G, calls, texts, etc., but I don't think 5G will work.
