Wow great deal. You could use the S20 as a stepping stone to the S21 by trading it in next year. You may even get more than $400 trade in credit.

It's unlocked, but you need to stay in fi for 90 days to get your $600 discount

5G versions of S20 and S20+ have 12GB RAM, S20 Ultra has 12GB/16GB RAM
From your link:
5G versions of S21 and S21+ have 8GB RAM, S21 Ultra has 12GB RAM

S20, s20+ and S20 Ultra - all have 3200x1440 resolution screen
From your link:S21 and S21+ have FHD+ (2400x1080) resolution while S21 ultra has WQHD+ (3200x1440) resolution.
1. No, Verizon S20 5G has 8 GB RAM. Phones are tested with carriers prior to launch,
and it's possible that the 8 GB leak was from Verizon, if even Verizon S21 has 8 GB RAM.

2. See the second link. 2400x1080 is at 120 Hz refresh rate & 3200x1440 at 60 Hz.
However, you're right that the first link doesn't mention it.

S21 and S21+ resolution is downgraded to 1080p compared to S20 and S20+. Don't spread misinformation please.

Only the S21 Ultra has the higher resolution.
That's not what you had written

I was able to activate my old phone. Now I have 2 new phones I need to activate. Cant I activate a new line ? I see that I can add a new line. If I add a new line using a different google account and add that line to the existing account will that work ?
How did you buy 2 phones without getting a new line, the promo doesn't work that way, you will get charged the remaining $600 for each phone if the terms are not met. Your best best would be to return the phones and then buy them for each new line you add.

So I received the phone , I haven't opened the box yet. Is the Google Fi Sim card inside the simcard tray? I am not planning to open the phone for few days, just wondering how others got this.

You cant do anything now, if you had less than 30 days remaining in the previous offer you could have waited to activate it till the previous offer was completed. Or you could have bought it by adding a new line(called adding a new person in Fi) and get the phone on payment plan if you wanted to use the credits.

Now your best bet is to put the sim back in the old phone and hope the previous offer gets activated again. Return this phone and buy another one by adding a new line
If I add a new person can I use the credits to pay 2nd lines bill?

I haven't done it yet, but based on what I read on Fi website, yes that can be done. That is what I plan to do as well.

Once the new line/person is activated, apparently there will be a share credits option show up under Billings which can be used to control whether you want to share your credits with others on your plan.

Trade in credits can be used for both bill payments and device payments, referral credits can be used only for
bill payments

1. You are right about Verizon S20. However, it's already an exception to the regular S20 5G line, and doesn't even go by "S20 5G", rather "S20 5G UW".

2. Your second link says S21 Ultra gets wqhd+. S21 and S21+ will get 1080P+ panels.

I am an existing Tello customer. I was going to get this phone and move back to Tello after 90 days but I saw that 'Samsung phones designed for Fi don't support Sprint's network' . So it became a deal breaker for me.

Do you have a source for that? Everything I have seen is that the resolution is dropping to 1080p.

From your own link:

Only the ultra is expected to have 1440p resolution.
The resolution is dropping? That sucks.

Are you sure you are interpreting that right? I am not sure that means that those phones can't be used a sprint network. It is possible it means they don't support dynamically switching to to sprint when used on Fi.

Can you quote it?

That just talks about what is compatible with Fi. I don't see anything mentioning sprint, unless I missed it?

Absolutely unscrupulous company. Google should be ashamed of this.

Dispute the charge with ur credit card company. I did
Just to clarify, ALL GOOGLE customer service is the worst to deal with. I am (was) one of the biggest anti apple/ google fanboys ever. Then I had an issue with a stadia controller order... I went to chat support, waited an hour for someone to get one, just for them to say "hi" twice then log off. So I called, of course over an hour wait so did the call back thing and got a call back about 3 hours later from an outsourced CS person. Spent 1.5 hrs on the phone with them, being put on hold most the time while they "look into the issue", just for them to come back and say "Sorry this will have to be escalated to the "Youtube team", this isn't a "Google issue". Then over week later got an email from Google CS (not Youtube) saying they are denying my order bc the promo ran out and I would have to buy again at full price and did not work with me at all even tho it was their fault the promo ran out.

Outside of all this mess, the WORST part was the hold music was a 30-second clip of orchestra music that played on repeat every time they put me on hold (which was pretty much the whole 1.5 call) It was like they were TRYING to make me go crazy.

During the same time I had some issues with another order from Apple.com and Target, they took care of it all in chat in like 15min and target gave me a $5 GC for the troubles. I hope to never have to deal with Google Support ever again.

TL;DR: You'll honestly get better support from the guy who stocks the cat food at Walmart then anyone in Google and all its sub companies put together.

Sorry for the rant. That being said, thinking of going for the 20+.
