Dalto - any comments?

Edit: Looks like you can use Verizon Messages plus to receive your Ting text messages on your Fi phone.
I haven't tried it yet but I will check it out.

How do you like Ting? I'm behind the times but just noticed they are on Verizon now.

I have only been on it for a month but I like it so far. I moved 4 phones there and I have had to call support 4 times and it is one of the best support experiences I have had. Everyone I have spoken to has been a native english speaker and only once did anyone have to consult with someone else to resolve my issue.

It is worlds better than RP or TF support. Their plans probably aren't a fit for everyone. The flex plan meets my needs pretty well since my family uses very little data. It is basically the same structure as Google Fi flexible plan but 50% of the cost.

I think it may not be able to be entered after the order is already placed.

I would verify on the billing screen that the promo shows the last task (keep device active on Fi for 90 days) is checked off before cancelling. You will be prorated the days that you don't use in that billing month.
thank you for this info, I didn't know they prorated.

I just activated my phone from tello, so still tranferring.

So do we need to unlock the Google voice number and pay$3 or that step is not necessary?
Also, How did you find your Google account number?
I never was billed anything and so looking on my bill, which was advised, is not an option.
I'm not sure about unlocking, but I always unlocked when porting out. I'm not sure if fi is different.

account number is phone number

and pin is voicemail pin

I already bought screen protector from Amazon. So it seems that the phone comes with a screen protector already? Man, what a waste. I have never seen this before, i.e., a screen protector comes with the phone. What a surprise.

I have the S20 from fi. There is a pre-installed screen protector with a cut out for the front camera. The rest of the screen is covered.

There is a second flimsy plastic covering with pull tabs installed over the pre-installed screen protector that is meant to be removed. This is the one with the fingerprint hole cut out. It is supposed to be removed.
Thank you very much for confirming.

What color? I ordered gray and assume that is why mine is delayed and everyone reporting quick turnaround is blue?
I ordered gray and live in Texas. It actually didn't come today. It was delayed a day and said it will be here tomorrow. 1/14

Is it possible to get the discount out of the States? I would like to ship it to Europe, it seems the SIM comes along with the phone so could I activate everything and get the discount without entering the States?
