Is anyone doing the $700 trade in for the S21? After watching MKBHD's review it seems that the S21 will start at $799 have a plastic back, lose the glass back and lose expandable storage. Like he quoued this is like a refreshed S20 FE....
That's pretty much what I thought also. But the upgrades are not little - 888 is 5nm meaning by design it's more power efficient, it has sub-6 and mmWave 5G bands, Gorilla Glass Victus as well as the other features s20 FE didn't have from the regular S20 line.

how about trading in Note 20 for a s20? downgrade?
Depends how you feel about the size difference. The Note 20 is substantially larger and has the s-pen. The S20 has a higher resolution screen or 120Hz@1080p and 12GB of RAM.

No, Note 20 is way better than S21.

Now that we all know the S21s pricing and specs. Do you guys think the S20 camera will be upgraded next? When Samsung says updates, that could just mean bug fixes. I read a report they got a camera update a week ago to 10.0.01.98 but I highly doubt its the same as S21. Now I'm fairly confident S20 will get Android 11 but does that normally include a totally new Camera app? A little faster processor doesn't mean a thing to me.

I think the S20 already got Android 11 a few months ago. The S20+ definitely did.

I don't think that Samsung will bring any major software improvements they are using to sell the S21 to the S20 since they are basically pushing out an inferior piece of hardware as an upgrade.

Has anyone tried to port a numberbarn number for a deal like this one and had success?
Yes, I did the Numberbarn for $7, and ported the number to Fi a few days later. Worked great. No issues.

I was a first-time customer to Numberbarn.

Hate to say this,.. most of you only focus on the skin-deep comparison between S20 and S21 and say S20 is way better... I'm more into the Snapdragon 888 vs 865 and say any phone with 888 is far superior.

It's true the S21 has lower resolution and lack microSD card, but I'll take the difference if it costs $200 less and have a much better internals.

Spec aside, did Samsung not lower the price on the S20 as part of S21 launch? Didn't see much coverage on this topic...

Same here. I thought about Google Voice number, but didn't want to take a chance and pay the $600.

For me, a microsd card & 4GB of additional RAM is more valuable than a faster, more power efficient CPU.

Is the flexible 20usd plan considered as a "full service plan"?

I received my phone today and activated on an existing account. Where do i see the counter(i.e number of day left w.r.to current promotion days) ? Tnx in advance
how did you activate it on existing account? I have one line already, when I tried to add a new line, it asked me disable the existing line and move number to new phone. Can't find how I can have 2 lines under one google account.

When I am trying to make call, there is no 'favorites' in the Phone app. That is quite inconvenient. Any help? Thanks.

you forgot the /s

The diff between 12GB and 8GB ram is going to be meaningless in day to day use even with heavy multitasking. The 888 CPU is however going to benefit everything the phone does.
