Correct. $20 plan + taxes and fees etc. I have not used any data on the plan. I activated the Fi SIM and service, and pretty much turned off mobile data and only on WiFi, then after system updates completed, I did a factory reset which deleted the Fi app, and I removed the Fi sim while it was booting up. The Fi SIM has not seen the light of day since.

Just had mine delivered the other day. I'll finalize the transfer here in the next week or so.

LoL, def. not as brave as other SDers on here. I'll try out Fi and see how 5G works on the network.

I did. I waited until after the 60 day promo completed on the Pixel 4a 5G, then paused service until my S20 got delivered. Turned service back on and activated the S20, which transferred the line from Pixel 4a 5G to the S20. On the promo page, it shows activation checked off and transferred a number as checked off. Countdown for 90 days active service is updating as well, so far.

Awesome, thank you for the response with data point. I haven't received my S20 yet but under Billings>Savings>Progress it shows I must transfer a number. Did yours show the same prior to activation and disappear subsequently? I don't want to transfer a number and although Fi Cust Service confirmed that I do not need to and will not be charged the promo $600, I'm kinda worried that they're misinforming me.

Yes, step 4 on the promo page was "Transfer a number to Fi". When activating the S20, there was an option to transfer the line from the Pixel 4a 5G. That satisfied the transfer a number requirement. I think we'll be fine, since the promo allows existing Fi users to participate and makes no mention of needing to port a new number. How are folks keeping track of how many days left till they satisfy the promotion? I saw some some people refer to a countdown timer of some sorts but I can't find it in the Fi app. Under Billings>Savings>Progress I only see the purchase device and receive $600 boxes checked.

I just successfully ported in a new line today, how did it take Fi to update the status of the other check boxes?

Today only I received my S20. I am using pre-paid SIM with unlocked phone. So do I need to take SIM out of my current phone and call Fi customer service and port number to Fi? Once the port process is over, then put my SIM in S20? I am kind of worried since I see so many messages saying they lost promo offer.

Also how do I port my number? Any number to call?

Thanks in advance.

Same here. ported in a new line today via fi support. Still the activation and port-in steps are not checked. Called Fi support and they said they see it as active and show not be an issue and asked me to wait for 24 hours. Let me see if it updates tomorrow.

Update: as of this morning the activation and port in steps are checked. Only one remains which is keep phone on fi for 90 days... Countdown begins

Probably shouldn't have done that. I haven't need to call fi support but it seems the majority have not had a good experience.

The best way to port in a number and activate fi service is to download the fi app on your fi phone with the fi sim in it, then do everything in the app. You do not need to call fi support. It's 2021 and you can self service and activate many carrier services.

I did use the fi app but port in failed and fi support helped me resolve it.

Excellent deal, Excellent service so far. I like the widget that shows current data used to track it. Phone works great and ported in a talk a tone phone number very easy without issue..

After my 90 days I'll be moving to Mint from Google Fi. Hopefully a good slickdeal for Mint comes up for 3 months free again or $150 or under for 12 months. Anyone sees anything make a post.

Thanks for posting this deal once again.
