Wow great deal. You could use the S20 as a stepping stone to the S21 by trading it in next year. You may even get more than $400 trade in credit.

Just got charged for my second month of service for $26.xx while the fi sim has been sitting in the s20 box since day one. Still no signs of breaking the promo.

Long story short, been using my mint moble sim since day one of activating fi service via port in and have not broken promo.
Thanks for the info. A little confused, b/c the CSP said the Fi sim has to be in the phone. I have a S20 and just got charged on my second payment.

Anyone looking for a port out number "I'm not the seller

Seller sends the information almost immediately, Port out took less then 5 minutes & the number was working.

How safe are these numbers? I bought one Boost number (for transfer to Visible) from diff user on eBay but internet search seems to suggest it belongs to someone. Do these sellers recycle numbers?

any reputable sellers on eBay for transfer to visible?

They finally changed the promotion for existing google fi customer. It used to state January 5th 2020. Now they updated the date to 2021. It took them 2 months to update it.

"How do I qualify for the $600 discount as an existing Fi customer?
An existing Fi customer is somebody who has been active on Fi on or before January 5th, 2021."

Number barn is the eBay seller. You just order a number from any carrier on the list of accepted ones.

Finally pulled the trigger today. It'd be a pretty good upgrade for my wife's current S8.

Just a quick question regarding the $20/mo Fi plan: it includes unlimited text and call minutes within the US, only data costs extra, right? So if I leave the Fi sim card in the new phone and turn off data (but turn on WiFi instead), I can still use it to make calls and send text without worrying about extra charge? I'll only need to pay the $20+tax per month for 90 days, and then port out my number. Is that correct? TIA.

BTW, if anyone is looking for a referral code, I have one to share. PM me if interested.

Yes. Note taxes are much higher than other carriers. I'm paying about $7-8 in taxes for a $20 plan.

Thanks! I've seen people saying monthly charge including tax is about $26~28. So that's just as expected.

I recently purchased the S20 as an existing customer and want to make sure I keep the $600 discount. It says:

"Activate the Samsung S20, S20+, or S20 Ultra on the same account used to purchase the phone.

Activate the phone on a full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email and remain active on Google Fi for 90 consecutive days."

The phone came with a sim card inserted, and I activated it and transferred my account. However, when I login to my Fi account, it says I still have to "Activate you device within 28 days." "Transfer a number to Fi" Does this mean I have to open a second line and buy a burner number to transfer? I am existing customer.

Save $600 on all Samsung Galaxy S20 5G phones when you buy and activate on Google Fi. Plus, get 50% off your first 3 months on the Unlimited plan
Just noticed that they're advertising this promo along with 50% off unlimited plan. Pretty good offer if you plan on using the line and especially great if you're traveling internationally.

I'm on mobile so I can't search the thread, also didn't see this on the Google fi site but does the promo apply if you're coming over from Tracfone?

When did you activate? It usually takes a day to update that page, so if you activated recently, just be patient. You don't need to open a second line, you can transfer an existing line to the S20.
