I wouldn't put too much into the warranty at all. I think Advanced Auto is the only one to carry TEQ and they can drop it at anytime and say sorry, not something we carry anymore ( I think this is the 3rd change in 10 years, I think it was Autocraft or maybe AMPro, Gearwrench and now TEQ ). I can't even find a TEQ Correct webpage, so once AAP stops carrying them, no warranty.

A warning for folks buying from Advance Auto - I bought the reversible Gearwrench set from the other SD thread and an extra gearwrench combo wrench and both were clearly used/abused/returned. Now I need to deal with the hassle of returning them to a local Advance Auto.

YMMV, but I suspect this isn't uncommon.

GW used to be awesome when they were made in Taiwan, fit, finish, and quality rivaled that of craftsman professional but since moving to China they're closed to the HF Pittsburgh, good enough for a few uses but won't hold up over time.

Depends on the car. Most modern cars domestic or import use metric, older domestics would be SAE. Lot of around the house/construction type fasteners will be SAE though.

The Chinese are junk and no matter where they are made the warranty is a complete nightmare.

I saw a mobile GW truck and trailer stopped by a local independent shop and pulled over to see if I could get a replacement on a 15mm flex head ratchet wrench and was told no!
