Hhm, wondering how it compared with the $790 2060 based system from Dell the other day.

https://slickdeals.net/f/14756575-dell-xps-8940-desktop-i5-10400-16gb-ram-256gb-nvme-ssd-1tb-hdd-rtx-2060-790-free-shipping

Looks like this is the better deal if you need the CPU horsepower. But probably won't make a real-world difference for gaming.

3700x is much better than i5 10400. 3700x cost $300-$325. i5 10400 cost $150-$175. A case, fans, CPU cooler is better and fancier. Dell may not have a gaming keyboard-mouse combo.

I bought this from Walmart this spring. The CPU cooler is garbage and should be replaced as soon as you get it. I got a Hyper 212 RGB Cooler and even under full load it sits about 63C where the stock cooler would regularly hit 75C or higher, all while screaming like a banshee.

Aside from that it's a very good system for the price.

But the Dell comes with a DVDRW drive, and 1-year McAfee sub! drool

When you removed a stock fan, do you see thermal paste cover all CPU or like this video? https://youtu.be/rRlCtp_q1YM?t=1362
