I second this, great story too. I think the hate comes from people wanting the traditional assassin's creed gameplay, which this is very different. If it was its own IP not tied to that series then I think it would've had more praise. The argument against that would be it likely wouldn't have sold as well.

Physical version was down to $35 on Black Friday. Or you can just pay $15/mo on PC and play all Ubisoft games with all content

Put about 70 hours in playing cross platform on Series X and Ps5. Great game for me. Perfect? Not even close. Loads of Fun? Definitely.

This is worth it. I got the physical for $35 on the one day Best Buy deal. I did get stuck on one part and had to replay because of a glitch which was very annoying but I still love the game.

I liked Odyssey but I find the combat a little too easy in this game playing on hard difficulty. Story is good though but it still feels kinda undercooked and doesn't have the same level of polish of Odyssey or Origins.
