PSA: Samsung has started creating FedEx shipping labels for pre-order. You can track by reference number (your order #) at https://www.fedex.com/en-us/tracking.html on the desktop site.

Or you can customize the below search link with your order#, and zip code.

fedex.com/fedextrack/?action=altref&trackingnumber=ORDER NUMBER&cntry_code=&locale=en_US&shipdate=2021-01-18&account_number=&dest_cntry=us&dest_postal=ZIP CODE

Mine shows estimated delivery 1/27 and anticipated ship date on the 25th. Might arrive even a day earlier like it has in many years.
TY. I'm kicking myself for waiting too long so my order didn't make first batch. Eta 2/16!

Might not be the phones. I ordered accessories with the bonus credit and those shipped, but the phone hasn't.

In that case, reference number would be some with _01 or _02 ending if multiple packages.

For perks at work:

(1) Is it an issue to use older paw accounts linked to previous employers?
(2) Is there an alternative option for those not employed by a participating company?
(3) Is 30x paw wow points the most common deal? (the best I'm seeing is 20x)

No problems... I got invited a long time ago to join someone's paw employer account and it still works til this day and I don't even work for that employer.

If your order is being shipped separately, try adding _01 or _02 or _03 to the end of the reference number

Thanks for sharing this trick. Mine has the same estimate, all in one package it seems Big Grin

I didnt order accessories, as its a better deal to use headphone trade ins and whatnot, which arent allowed on an phone trade in order. And I can confirm my S21U T-mo ordered the first day is expected to ship 1/25 and arrive 1/27

Think 80/20. If I was samsung i would get rid of the same if it made my margins better (and yes they follow the successful apple playbook):
- micro sd slot - with 128gb or more + cloud, 95% of their user base will be fine
- mst, please! most terminal are now or will be equipped with regular contact-less making this an exotic use case at best, again 80/20
- heartrate / o2 sensor fun but gimmicky and samsung realized that again their user base has other devices like a watch or other to do the same and do it better, I bet the usage statistics for this feature were abysmal for those who even knew it existed
- amazing display, they kept it on the ultra to upsell it to you and looking at the pre order, it just worked. Even on cheaper s21 models, the 1080p screen quality is so good that most people wont need more. 80/20 again

Stop thinking that brands are here to make you happy as they claim in their presentation, you know its B.S. they are here to make money, and samsung is pulling the right moves to their defense. i call that the contrary of messing around.
People wanted cheaper samsung flagships phones, they got it, best soc, best screen, lose to best camera, close to best battery, solid software, No one prevents you to buy a mi 11, or the next lg or oneplus.Yet samsung remains the best android phone maker for masses. They will give all these "super useful" extra features to the notes and charge your for it.

their best moves are the pre-order perks. Man that is a solid deal. If i was an cell operator i would be pissed. the incentives to not go straight samsung shop are very small.
Why would I, as a consumer think 80/20. That's my point in the first place. It's not like they never gave us these features - it's that they gave it and then took it away - the very features that attracted plenty in the first place. You're thinking from a business perspective, I am thinking as a consumer, and that's the flaw in your argument.

That said none of your arguments actually have any backing - the missing MicroSD card has been a pain point, and mentioned in every publication. Your stats on MST is flawed, this is absolutely not the case worldwide, and the heartrate/O2 is accurate, because I've tested it against dedicated sensors, and the display is a downgrade, and no, 1080p isn't suddenly ok to accept. So spin it as you want the truth is Samsung's products differentiation is getting worse every year, and this applies to their TV and tablet lines as well.

You have a choice to keep compromising, or voicing out your disappointment in their product decisions, and I am choosing to do the latter.

Yes I am thinking like the company selling the phones because I do not believe in fairy tales, the consumer is king was a BS invented to make you feel better. "I decide with my wallet!" looooool

Samsung has an army of A/B testers. They took the features away because they stronly believe they can get away with it and guess what they most likely will. Power users always needs something to complain about and reviewers always needs something to write about.
You already know what are the most important features for "consumers" and none of these killed features were as important as:
  1. battery
  2. perceived speed
  3. screen brightness and clarity (not resolution since people dont know what resolution are)
  4. image and video capture
  5. phone design/build quality/durability
  6. data security (this one is getting stronger yoy)
oh surprise, Samsung checks all these boxes! I i did not put put app/ecosystem purposefully here. because its a wash mostly

I could already write the s21 models reviews before even touching the phone and I can bet you today that they will sell more of this phone that the previous gen especially the ultra - and increase the average spent per user with better margins.

Winner: Samsung, Whiner: You. But hey, you can voice your disappointment by not buying a s21!

I don't know why but I made an account a year or so ago with my work email (very small business) and see all the benefits, etc, as well as the 20X WOW point. I think I may have just enrolled my business myself?

Unfortunately my points have not registered beyond a shopping trip yet, but I was seeing the discounted pricing with this P@W account.

I see a lot of complaints about the microSD slot. I guess the question is, do you really use all that space. This could be a problem if you record/download 60GB+ in a single day. But how often does that happen? And if you do, even if you don't trust the cloud, you can store media on a network drive. I recently discovered this myself. It shows up in your file navigator just like a microSD. Except, you don't have to remove a memory card to transfer files. They're already where you want them. In this case, my NAS, but a desktop works too.

MST....that will be missed but I was only able to get it to work 1 out of every 10 transactions I tried. So mostly a waste of time for me...

I used the heartrate sensor once. Then I got a Fitbit...

It's like griping about the charger when you already have three. A lot of these things seemed like 'musts' to me at first, but they have easy substitutes. Just have to evaluate on your own to see if they are worth the trouble.
It's the vocal minority of people still carrying hundreds of gigabytes of lossless audio and movie rips around on their devices. And the market has proven removing it's not a problem.

In my cart, is this a good deal? Trade in S10e.
Your missing new Samsung account first order discount. If your using Gmail just create a new account and add a dot . anywhere in the email, example: [email protected] would be [email protected]. it would still process it as your normal email address and you get 5% discount. Also if you go back from your shopping cart to the main page and select Carrier upgrade instead of unlocked, then go back to the cart, hour promos will still be intact plus an additional $100 credit. Essentially making your purchase almost free. Good luck
