I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

they didn't ask me for the pin and the security Q&A. I guess I have to go back to the store. Is it possible to call customer services to get set up the pin?
Metro online support should help you out. I don't think you have to go back to store.

Ting didn't work for me because you will need a Verizon device which I don't have.
I successfully got 4 phones (2xn10 -2xn100) for $120 (I tried explaining that I wanted the 4x100 but it's no use. Just pay $120 it's much easier like OP stated.
Worked like a charm.
I got the boost port in for $5 👍👍
can you give me the link where you bought boost port in numbers? thanks.

I had boost number. One of stores that I went, tried to call the boost number to ensure someone atleast picks it up or they get a ringtone atleast. In case, if the bost number goes to voicemail directly( In case of boost number from ebay - it won't ring, rather it will go to voicemail), store rejects to handover the phone and requests to bring boost statement. Just a caution, so you guys can be prepared ahead.

Been reading these comments on the Metro deals for a long time. I wonder how the sales reps are compensated. Do they work on commissions? If so, why aren't sales reps helpful getting people to purchase as many phone units as possible? Maybe there's some sort of sales disincentive which would be weird. Whoever is the marketing higher up has decided that a new customer with a valid ID can purchase 1 phone with 1 port-in and sweetened with additional new line + phone. They take steps to limit abuse such as ID check and waiting 180 days before next deal.

I understand the sales policy can be different for authorized dealers since they are independent owners, but corporate stores should have the same basic policy. If a customer came in without the proper ID or a T-Mobile number, I would tell customer to do this/that, come back and I can process the transaction. Yes, I would try to upsell, but if customer didn't bite, I wouldn't let the customer out of the store without making a purchase. Many people do get this deal, but many others don't. Just trying to figure out why it's so hit or miss. Doesn't make sense.

Thing of getting TING kit from target to see if that works
If you get the Verizon ting sim and have a CDMA phone then yes

Online support can't help on that, I had the same issue, they asked me to contact the store.

The agent had actually put a lip on each phone box with the number on each phone, one of that slip had the 8 digit pin.

Some reps would rather take the hit in no commission than give it to a SDer(you) because they are essentially giving out $500+ worth of phone product out for FREE, while they make $10-20 bucks or however much they make, it also takes time and effort 30-1 hr to help you setup 4 phones. They'd much rather stand there browse on their phone or do nothing than basically give someone $$ worth of phones that in most cases will cancel after first month. That was my case with the 1st store i went to. Kids were just standing there on their phones and blasting music.

Search for boost port number on ebay and u find the guy easily After I bought them, while sending the codes, he told me to directly contact him via whatsapp and he can give a number each at 5$ instead of $6 for number i paid at ebay.. Could have saved couple of bucks.

So can I get the device for free, port in a numbet and pay $40 for the first month of service and then disconnect without paying any fine? And then after 6 months it will be automatically unlocked? Correct?
