I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

alternate method to check if your number is eligible for port:
call CS in Dublin, CA: 925-551-7111
(in 17 seconds, press option 3)
a live person at the store will answer.
ask them
Just a heads up. this is someone at the retail store. they likely will tell you just to come in. I spoke with general customer service and they mentioned the same thing. I'm coming from Mint so we'll see if it works tomorrow. My 3m from the pixel 4a deal is almost up.

Corporate store in Pomona CA told me you need to have auto pay set up for 3 months. I didn't want to argue since they didn't have the one plus in stock. But it's the same with the iPhone se. Pay 100 and get 50 after 3 months. I'll try again in a few days

Are you using Visible suspended numbers? I am planning to, but they were ported out from Sprint end of Nov. Not sure if it will hit the 90 day TMo roadblock. Anyway, let me try. Thanks.
isnt it 180 days? I'm only at 2.5 months since porting from Tmo to Visible, not sure whether to even try porting them to Metro and when they say no, coming back an hour later with fresh numbers to port. laugh out loud

do we need to have the port-in numbers switched on? The agent at CS store said, they will dial the number to make sure it is working. Is it true?
No, but some stores are trying to verify to make it harder than necessary. In your case, she's not making it easy for you.

You can try going to another store and hope that they don't ask you for your ID. Some stores don't ask and just ask you to write down your name and address for them instead.

Not true, but CS like to make up their own rules too sometimes.

id verification is now being required for some deals.
they will ask for your Driver license .
and enter into system. technically u r not allowed more than 4 free phones in 180 days.
many have tried. some have succeeded in getting more phones after 30 days.
so it is unclear on whether or not you will be accepted or rejected if you did a deal like this
in the past 180 days and gave them you DL.

u may also get lucky and they may not even ask for your id.

best advice: just try it. worse they can do is say no

I know that, 7T works after converting to global rom and proper sim try, however 8 is not working as both sim slots share same IMEI. So not sure about N10 but doesn't look good.
Chances are really low for dual sim support.
T-Mobile version Oneplus 7T did that because it was the first oneplus phone on T-Mobile and oneplus didn't have enough time to modify the hardware during the manufacturing process but just changed the sim card tray. After that, oneplus had enough time to design a customized T-Mobile version with only single sim and also can save few cents by removing second sim card capability.

Quick question, anyone know what is the age limit for this? I'm thinking of sending my younger brother out to do this, but he doesn't have his ID yet. If they ask for his ID and he doesn't have it, would they just straight up deny him?

Trying to find it in their terms and conditions page, but can't see anything about that.

If I get 4 phones, 3 of them will be in the drawer next month. I only want to use only one going forward. How do I continue the service of only one phone?

You need to call and cancel the other 3 lines, which may cause the other 3 phones not eligible for unlock after 6 months.
Best way to do is just let the 4 lines expire and order a sim card from MetroPCS online and do a BYOD single line plan if you don't care about new number and want the 4 phones to be unlocked after 6 months.

FYI: metrobyt-mobile version of N10 and N100 are not bootloader unlockable before sim unlocked. The bootloader unlock switch is greyed out unless the phone is sim unlocked.
Those who want to root this phone have to wait for sim unlock.

They're ask for ID . Just got 4 for my 2 port in and another 4 with 2 port in with my wife ID. This's the first time she did not open the seven boxes except the first one.

So they wanted to charge my husband $140 also. Can you tell from your receipt if any of it was for activation fee? This was at corporate and even after trying various things, they said they couldn't get it lower. Just thinking maybe the activation fee was added on and would have come off after porting the two numbers. TIA
The receipt doesn't show anything specific, just a charge for $140.

Turns out they failed to put me on the 4 lines for $100 plan... they had me on 4 lines for $140 per month, which includes $20 for an insurance service I didn't ask for and they never mentioned. You should open up the Metro app on your phone and see what your next month's charges are, I bet it's more than $100.

I called their 1-800 number and their service was excellent, putting everything back to the $100 plan for me, but told me I need to get the $20 refund at the actual store.

I went to the store and it was typical used car salesman tactics. They said the extra $20 was "probably tax or something". I told them I knew it was the insurance fee addon, they said they can't provide the refund and I need to call the 1-800 number. So I called again, they told me that's wrong and only the store can do it. The employees denied that, I called again and asked the representative to speak to the store employee, they refused and just insisted they can't do a refund.

So I called my credit card company and told them I'm disputing $20 of the $140 and that the other $120 is legitimate, and I'm waiting to see how that turns out. Honestly I don't care about that $20 much since this is a great deal, I just don't appreciate the sales tactics.

FYI for anyone interested, I tried popping out the SIM from the N100 and putting it in my unlocked Moto G7, and it didn't work for some reason. Seems like Metro service requires their own phones.
