I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

I did a speed test today with the metro phone and I am getting around 40 Mbps. I tried a phone with Sprint network and only getting 15 Mbps. I guess I need to TNX my sprint phone. Tmobile network is faster.

DP: Authorized dealer came through

Just got 2 N10 and 2 N100 on the $100/mo plan with 2 ported lines and 2 new lines. at a authorized dealer. Had pay first month service, taxes on all 4 devices (stupid CA law), and activation on 2 of the 4 lines (not sure if at the corp store they'd waive all). Was going to buy from a corp store, but they barely have any in stock and they won't hold it for you; drove over and alas they sold out. Called a authorized dealer nearby and confirmed they have the same deal and they would hold it. No funny business and didn't try to upsell me on anything.

I also called the 510 number in the wiki. Gave her an old number and she said the number was eligible for the "new line discount" but not the "switcher discount". So I asked what the difference was, she said with the "new line discount" you should pay $69.99 for N10 because you were not qualified for the "switcher discount" which would make it free. She never asked for my ID (over the phone, obv). So there should be related to the number we want to port in.

Then I called a local AD, she checked the number and said the number was eligible for the port in but not sure if I was qualified for a free phone, that depends on the ID verification! So not sure who to believe.

Can anyone PM me an eBay listing that can be used? The atlwireless says "they check the IDs in the store so do not buy it from me"
Quote from maxpain2011 :
yes my port in number is the boost number from ebay and i did give them that. maybe that is the reason?
FYI I was able to get 4/$100 using the atlwireless numbers.

not only that but if the phones are locked to metro for 6 months, how is this even a deal at all, let alone 90 pages worth? you people are embarrassing. is a 299 phone even worth it, knowing you will have to pay a metro bill for 6 months to even get it unlocked?
You know that for most people here, these aren't our primary phones right? I'm sure some are getting this deal to use on Metro, but we use other phones while we wait 6 month to unlock itself. Once it unlocks, it's free money or extra phone to use.

Also, you should read the wiki. You don't need metro bill for 6 month to unlock. Don't embarrass yourself by making us look like the stupid one.

Metro stores set their own prices. There is no way they match price to a website typo.
The person who claimed that he got iPhone 11 pro max for free said that they needed to call support to make it free, which proves that he lied, because metro support has no rights to tell local stores what prices they should sell their phones in local stores.

if my boost number that i am porting in was recently on metro/tmobile, what would the clerk/system tell me? the guy told me that the system said to pay $69 after he put in all the info
Either the rep was BS you, or the number was indeed previously on metro. Get a refund and new number, or go to a different store.

I have taken that screenshot too but it's just a typo on that page. If you clicked on the "learn more" to the product page, it will show the correct price on the product page.
BTW: if you look closely, the original price is also 0, which means it should be free on new lines too if the price were true.
Look at other phones, they will usually cross out some non-zero numbers, and list $0 when switch.

yup. tax. main reason to avoid the AD

no tax at CS.

4x100 at CS = $100 out the door
4x100 at AD=$100 + ~$120 (tax) = ~$220 otd

what did u pay?

I'm 99% sure that person was trolling. Radio silence after receipt or pictures.

Lol.. none of that.. they get more and more suspicious the more days pass with promo in effect and more phones they sell for bare minimum and try to make up rules to make it tough.. due to Slickdeals they might have seen 10x expected traffic..
