I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

Can you explain the $100 iPhone se deal.... when I check the webpage there is only a 49.99 offer with 3 months autopay and some rebate BS
That's the $100 SE deal.

You pay $99.99 up front, and you get a $50 rebate after 3 months of service (with autopay).

but that is what u agree to when u join the likes of subway or in this case metro
Exactly. Every industry will have their Good and Bad Customers. That's why Metro set up the ID, port, and limit of 2 rules. To get more of the Good than the Bad.
The stores should instead channel their displeasure at their own Boss instead of mistreating the paying customer.

Can I port out after a month? Do they enforce setting up the autopay in the store..don't need the $50 rebate as 3 months of service will cost more

They did insist on setting up autopay when I did the deal last year. The rebate is contingent on that, so it's tantamount to telling them that you don't plan on staying for 3 months if you refuse it. It very easy to disable autopay on their website/app.

I let my number die instead of porting it out, but there shouldn't be any problems porting out your number before the 3 months are up. Some people do say that porting out the number may cause the phone to not unlock itself after 6 months, but no one knows if that's really true.

I went to a store and they told me not qualify for the promo plus ,and told me maybe I purchased devices in last six months. Then I tried another store and they are so kind but no inventory. I know the reason I was denied by metro system is the phone number I got from Ting with Verizon service.
Why was ting Verizon denied?

That's the thing - we don't know if the phone was ever going to unlock even if he had stayed with Metro for 6 months. There have been rare reports where phones didn't unlock even after six months of continuous service (I have a distant acquaintance who had that happen to him and there's no recourse).

There was also a big batch of phones 2-3 years ago that simply didn't unlock no matter what. I want to say it was the LG Stylo 4? I seem to recall it was right after they switched their unlock policy from 3 to 6 months.

After checking their system, they told me I don't qualify this promotion. Yes, I saw the screen with red letters.

They checked two new ting verizon numbers for me and ask how long I have them, I said two months but actually less than one day from Ting.

I will call different store to let them check my numbers and my name.

From Metro PCS directly [metrobyt-mobile.com]:
Quote :
Unlock eligibility requirements
We unlock mobile devices that meet the following eligibility criteria free of charge:
* The device must be purchased from Metro by T-Mobile.
* The device must not be reported as lost, stolen or blocked.
* One hundred eighty (180) days must have passed since the device's activation date.
I would presume that service is not required and you must only wait 180 days in order to get it unlocked.

They have no way to check how long you had the number, unless it was on Metro before.
Otherwise why bother asking you or demanding 3 months of phone bills.

Get a few boost or verizon port numbers from eBay and retry. There's a problem with those ting #s
