I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

so when i tried the n10 imei in sprint checker said not compatible.
the moto g stylus returned compatible.

both currently active on a metro line.

is it because the n10 imei is not in the sprint system?
wonder how easy it would be to get the imei of a unlocked n10 into sprint system.
but if the 5g doesn't work on anything that is not tmobile, is it even worth it?

would u agree that :
moto g stylus> n10 without 5g
I would think N10 without 5g is still better than moto g stylus due to better cpu, ram and NFC. I think N10 will also be compatible for sprint because it also has CDMA bands. It may take time for sprint to update its IMEI database. If sprint doesn't update its IMEI database automatically, I think you can call sprint to manually add the specific IMEI to their database when N10 is unlocked. I know people did that for some moto phones.

I ported numbers, which were ported from google voice to visible for 24 hours, from visible to MetroPCS to get free phones several months ago.
I don't know exact answer for your question but after reading what others posted here, I guess it is not an enforcing requirement for 90 days. You can also just buy boost numbers from ebay for about $6 because most people did it successfully.
Thanks. Repped. I will call and check eligibility before driving 30 miles to the CS. I want to avoid AD as much as possible.

IMO Metro has always been a scummy company.
I think it is more-so the authorized dealer stores that account for the majority of the problems. Went to a corporate store and was in and out in 30 minutes and $40 total (although they did try to nonchalantly add in a case and screen protector for $70 at first, until I politely declined).

Got the phones eventually. As a lot of people mentioned, the authorized dealer is strange with a lot of unusual behavior which includes:

1. Ask your last four of social
2. Ask you to pay cash instead of credit card
3. Ask you to set up autopay otherwise don't wave the activation fee
4. Charge you the phone insurance without asking you
5. Ask you to tie your bank account to the payment
6. Enter a wrong name or zip code by purpose so the system giving an error message saying you are not qualified for this promotion.
........etc

They will judge you by your race or by asking some weird questions. If they suspect you are trying to take advantage from the deal they will give you hard time. Also many tricks to play if you are not looking at what they are doing they will try their best to scam you.
During the process I was told at least three times that I am not qualified then they said it is okay again. I hate these dishonest people. Not going to do any more deal with Metro no matter how good they are. Not worth the time and insult you get.

For people in SoCal, you can try to visit the CS store at Stanton near Long Beach. They currently have the N10 and don't charge tax and activation fee there.
Bank account! Haven't seen any retail stores ask for that for many years.

Moto g stylus has better build quality though with aluminum frame, and a stylus and better/faster/more accurate fingerprint scanner. The N10 has face unlock while moto g stylus don't.
It really depends on the usage. For people who are not tech savvy like old people, the moto g stylus may be better for them.

I was about to ask whether you visited the store. Somehow missed it. Yet to visit the store?

Yes. Been busy at work and the store is about 30 miles away...will call first about inventory and port eligibility and then go.

I had similar experience 3 years ago at another SoCal location and I ended up walking out of the store with out taking the phones.. are these stores thinking all these new accounts stay with them when they take all these details and when there is no contractual obligation.. if they serious want people to stay, they would force a contract in which case no one even visits their store ..

I have not pay much attention to cellphone plan rate since I am on sprint kickstart. After going through this deal, I see their plan rate is very good for 4 lines of service. $120 - Amazon prime and 100 GB cloud storage. For 4 lines, each line is about $26 and no taxes and fee. They also have 15 GB hotspot per line. Also 2 free 5G phones and 2 none 5G phones. Btw, I dont work for Metro Smilie

Sounds good until you use it. During the day, I can only get 0.1-0.3MB download speed on metropcs, while can get 3MB on same T-Mobile network. Unlimited data means nothing when you can't use it when needed.

It depends on location, but in my area I am getting very good rate. I am getting 45 Mbps just now in my house.

I thought you get the same rate as Tmobile if you use less than 35Gb. They only throttle if you use more than 35 Gb.

The specs on this phone seem decent but the phone actually felt like a step back from my pixel 3a XL. Metro speeds were nothing to rave about either, even when 5G worked. Oh well, at least I was only out 40 bucks. Already ported back to Verizon prepaid.

No. You won't get same rate under 35 GB. You get lower speed than T-Mobile from the first byte of data. You will be further throttled if you use more than 35 gb.
