I went to the same corporate store and got 2 N10 and 2 N100 for $100. The guy tried to lie to me that I need pay $120 and set up auto pay to get the $100/4 lines deal and I said that was not correct. The guy just said "ohh, you know everything and you are like a boss" and proceeded with $100 cash.
I ported 2 numbers.

Funny thing: my friend went to the same exact store and the store not only said $120 with auto pay is required and that my friend could only get 2 N10 and 2 samsung A21, not 2 N100. My friend left with empty hands.
These stores are like shit.

One of my phones has a defect issue, I am thinking of asking them to swap out a different phone. Has anyone able to do this? Should I call the customer service number?
Should be able to if less than 14 days. Call store

There asking how long I had boost lines for? Can they check how long I had the lines
I told them 6 month and they didn't care afterward. There's no way to verify unless they actually call boost, but most employees aren't that asinine to do it.

I was asked this question by every Metro store I visited as well.

Oh so did you finally get the phones from that unreasonable CS? What strange coincidence that you have a defect for one of your phone.

This is a fantastic deal, but be careful with the T Mobile 4G and 4G LTE network. I can confirm data issue with T Mobile's 4G band in southern CA right now. T Mobile's level II supports blame it on network upgrade or no issue found.

Never done a MetroPCS promo before or had a line with them. I took the Tmobile S21 FE offer a few months back from Costco. Maybe my address and SSN gave it away that I'm existing T-mo customer.
oh my.
this a shame.

looks like they profiled u as a fraud customer.

they dont record ss number.

i doubt they record anything.

another tip that may or many not help:

mention u r paying too much with your current carrier.
confirm on many occasions that the monthly recurring price is $100 tax included.
this will give them impression u will continue to be customer for more than 1 month.

no luck here either. They really dont wanna out give free phones plus no activation fees. I tried 3 different stores. I get the same feeling with every store that i visited.
u mean honor the terms of their own promotion.

what a shame

was it a CS or AD?

That's good advice. This is exactly what I did during my visit too. I double checked to make sure that it was $100 and also included the unlimited data. The rep and I talked about hotspot and stuff as well.

Try using the N100 number and pin to login to metro online account, and check history or monthly total. It should show all the four phone numbers on your account. Check if they actually give you new numbers on the two N10s. If that is the case, you don't have to do anything, since you don't care about those port-in numbers bought from eBay anyway.

Port has failed because of some error.

You have to fix it with the port dept.

Just reconfirm the correct info.
Quote from kevinlynwood :
It's actually easy to fix this but will take a little time, because it happened to one of my ported # ...the acc# wasn't correct but the store still let you walked out with phones lol.

Anyway, use the phone that works, call 611....ask for port department or the customer service that has ability to view and edit porting status...

From there, tell them that when you were in store, the rep told you that it will take about 30-an hour for port to complete and you left the store
Tell them that a day after, 2 phones still showing not working, you have spent hours with your previous carrier to verify the account info and all are correct.
Tell them that the store rep shouldn't have let you walked out the store when porting wasn't even completely done the first place.
Now you are holding the phones that are not working at all, and you already paid for the service and couldn't even use the phones and the service with it.
You got very frustrated that you have to spend lots of hours on hold on previous carrier and on metro trying to get this issue solved but just couldn't go anywhere.
So now I'm (you are) calling for help, that I gave up on porting, can you (the customer service) please just provide me the 2 new # for these 2 phones so I can get it over with and don't have to deal with this any more!!!

Ask nicely and told them you were so excited to join metro and just to found out the porting is taking too much trouble and times...now they will ask you to provide all the porting info again to verify in their end again and they will offer you 1. To port again and to call carrier to verify all info for you...2. Just give you new #....
Tell them that you really tired and spending lots of time on this...you would really just want new #.......
From there, they should be able to cancel the porting and give you the new # for those phones thats not working...

It took me only 30 minutes on hold and got it done...
While they are doing this and after its done, make sure ask them that no change or any charges for this....

Good luck...I rather have a new # then dealing with porting issue and can have it unlocked later on...
Thank you all. Kevin's story worked. Wait time 36 sec. I only told half of the story when she said how about I give you two new numbers?... by 5 min, she canceled porting, assigned new numbers, and activated both phones. But then we talked about other things for 20 mins (like why the phone number is not showing in the settings and how to fix it, amazon prime). My 5G speed is 322 Mbps Wave Maybe I should cancel my wifi!

She said the amazon prime should be on a new amazon acct and cannot be linked to your existing one. Is there a workaround? Also, is it only for 1m, 12m, or as long as we have the service with the metro?

Quote from kevinlynwood :
During iPhone 6s deal back then, they even had camera video footage in back of the store...they past those footage around making sure the same people wouldn't be able to get any more phones lol
That's why we wear face masks, isn't it?

Is there a way to reject auto pay? At an authorized retailer and they insist on having auto pay for the 100$ plan. Appreciate feedback

the numbers listed in that bullet point of wiki was for folks who weent sure if thier number can be ported....not stock inqury,,,for that ya, call ur store or go down to store.
Stopped by the AD. He checked my numbers on a computer...he said they are not eligible for porting...of-course non-sense...he probably called or texted...and it went to voicemail..left as is...going to the CS now...the same one i called earlier...they thought I asked for Note instead of Nord N10 5G...that's why they said no...WTF...

Went in an AD, buttered up the rep with some questions about their devices, just be friendly and loosen up the rep is the key, unfortunately they were out of N10s told me the other store is out too. Told me they get stock every week. Also told the rep I'm just going for cheap phone and plan and have Ting numbers that get really bad signal inside the house that's why I'm trying to move the numbers. So, wouldn't hurt to chat up the reps a little and they'll be glad to help you out. He replied with a $30 plan and with the port the N10 will be free. Will try again next week. This was in Bellingham WA, only two AD locations

You can either check the first 5 digits of the sim ID are 89012 or it should be X3 I think for t-mobile.
Just for clarification, are you saying that both the ID starting with 89012 AND X3 are t-mobile? Or one designation is for t-mobile and the other is for another carrier?
