Which CS was it that had no stock in NY?
Queens Jamaica Av. Called Saturday in stock, on Sunday no stock. The clerk went inside for a few minutes before asking me for ID and said out of stock. Wonder if they don't like my face or what. But they did say check again after Tuesday or Wednesday.

Yeah, that's kind of the issue with AD. They will just make up stuff along the way even if the terms say whatever. They will just make up their own rules to gouge people.

Hopefully they restock it at CS. That way, you don't have to deal with AD extra charges.
I don't want to drive around too far and went to another AD today. They had N10-5G and successfully transferred 2 numbers, one from Ting-verizon and another from Red Pocket-Sprint. Only down side is sales tax and forcing my into 2 lines $80 unlimited plan.

It means whatever first sim inserted into the sim the phone is locked to that carrier. So technically when you first get the phone it is unlocked and you can insert any sim you want. Trick is if you wanted to get it fully unlocked you have to insert a inactive att card or inactive Verizon.

Unlocked phones are not locked to service providers. I have bought two Moto e4+ and Moto G7 Power activated the E4plus with Ring plus, Tello, Ting, ATT then Sprint then Tmo then back to Sprint now one is with Ting Verizon Sim. the g7 Power was on Sprint, now TNX Tmo while active I activated a Ting Verizon sim to use the number for porting. The G& is active with Sprint TNX and Ting Verizon sim at the same time, I just replace the sim card every time I want. So unlocked is not locked to one service provider.

Activate later, you won't need go go through activation process, you will skip 2 or 3 pages on Best Buy website and go straight to check out.

Activate now you will need to log in to your account and to to activation process which will require you to choose from Add A Line, Upgrade A Line or Create A New Account be3fore going to checkout

Any luck with Tello?

Edit: I see a couple of posts where it worked. I guess I'll try.

curious, how exactly have you determined the re sale value of the n10?

Not sure about resale value but iPhone7 still hold a very good trade-in value.

I got iPhone7 (32G) for $30 (new line) from Metro and then traded-in for $210 for Samsung A71 5G (T-Mobile).

Where as Samsung consider OnePlus brand under OTHER and gives you just $75 trade-in value.

Samsung A71 not even listed on Samsung site for trade in for S21, but iphone 7 still have $250 trade in value.

Samsung only gives good trade-in value for their flagship phones, iPhones, and Google phones. Doesn't matter if it's Oneplus, LG, Moto, etc. because they're all valued the same according to Samsung.

Trade-in value and resale value does not mean the same though. It's just good idea to take advantage of whatever offers you more money in the end.

The A series has horrible trade-in value since Samsung never lists them as option (probably because they're budget lines). They're not bad for resale value though.
