I just added a T-mobile line and have a choice of 2 promos:

1. Trade in my 128gb unlocked at&t iphone 7 plus for $450 off the $830 iphone 12 at T-mobile
or
2. Get the Nord N10 free

Which would be the better value?
How many lines you need ? N10 is a nice phone 64 megapixels 6GB ram 128 gb of storage.
You can get both. N10 will do anything iphone 12 can but does not have advanced features Dolby hdr recording etc.

I believe this deal will last longer and they will have more stock soon.
It seems like suburban Chicago AD's have yet to receive the N10, and the CS's are all out waiting replenishment

Received them at all or a restock? The 5 or 6 I called, all said they had them in stock when the deal went live. No restock since.

I got 2 lines, 1 port in and one new iine for $102 out the door. That was at AD. I only had 1 part in number so went with total 2 lines with one N10 and second N100. So 2 phones for $102 for me. They charged tax, added mandatory insurance, first line $45 and second line $35. not complaining for $102 for 2 phones!

Already done. Now just waiting for the phones to get to the CS's

Update: Bought phones (2 N10 2 N100) for $196 with IL's 10% sales tax, AD was friendly and fast.

None of my local AD still got any in stock. It's pretty amazing that they didn't get any. I don't know if they're just not interested or they can't get it.

CS had a couple of them in stock but I have no idea if they still have any left.

Have 2 numbers that are valid but I wasn't able to use since my local one called and it went to voicemail. Anyone wants them in exchange of Amazon GC? They're valid for 28 more days

It means whatever first sim inserted into the sim the phone is locked to that carrier. So technically when you first get the phone it is unlocked and you can insert any sim you want. Trick is if you wanted to get it fully unlocked you have to insert a inactive att card or inactive Verizon.
Doesnt verizon require 60 days for unlock, atleast that is how long it took for my iphone 11, you dont need to have service but you need to wait 60 days from activation to unlock, it happens automatically you dont have to ask for unlock. For AT&T I think you still need to go through device unlock portal and not sure how it will work since if the phone imei is not recognized as a AT&T phone not sure how they would unlock it.

Corporate store said they need to make sure the phone numbers ring and they are your legit numbers and denied selling the plan. Can they even do that?

quick update- was able to move the N10 to my main metro line! The online phone upgrade tool did not work, got errors when with SIM #. Called CS and had them replace the N10 with an old metro phone. Told them it was having issues. Called right back and had them put the N10 on my main line.

Stores are seeing a lot of people getting 4 free phones, they want to make sure the port ins are legit. Many came with the same pin which is quite suspicious. It's always better to jump in a deal early.
