Has anyone successfully network unlocked this phone? Saw a few listings on eby ant they're like 40-50 bucks and take 15-25 days.
Curious why its so expensive and so time consuming, i thought it was as simple as connecting to a server and getting a code. Worried those are scams

Anyone? any luck with speeding up the drawer unlock 6 month thing?
That unlock service seems to depend on loophole in metro server. Whenever the server is offline for maintenance, they can perform unlock. So you have to wait for that small window. That's my guess based on the description.

Does this unlocking will enable removing the Metro bloatwares from the phone?

No. That's not what unlocking does.

To remove the bloat, the phone would need to be rooted. Unlikely to happen with these.

Or do this: https://www.xda-developers.com/un...ot-access/
Definitely not for the faint of heart. This is black diamond skiing stuff. Enter at your own risk.

tethering does not work on the $100/4 plan even though it shows 10gig available on each line when you look up online or in the app. the customer service agent said this is an error in both the app and the web and will be fixed shortly! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

You mean you can press the unlock app during this window and it unlocks?

try not to compare a $40 phone to a $1k iPhone 12. N10 is the best $40 phone atm.

Of course it's not that simple, ebay sellers are charging $50 for that.

Can we still get 4 phones for $100 or $120 from corp stores if porting in two numbers and get two N10 and two other phones, such as A21 ? Looking at their website, looks like they limit free phone to one only with one port in, is this true? Thanks.

not sure.

this deal is ~ 1month old.

most of the "seasoned" vets have already taken advantage.

today:
best is for u to try & report back. what the state of the deal is today.

be sure to review the wiki before u try.
