Sorry to ask an off topic question here, I just have a Samsung A11 unlocked after 40 days in use by myself from the phone's self service function, the phone was bought from Costco during Tmobile add a line promo about two months ago, it's free after rebate, it was unlocked instantly, now it shows that the phone can be used on any sim. I tried a Visible sim, it works, but when I tried the imei on Visible, Verizon, Xifinity, At&t, they all shows that it doesn't work on their network, it works on Mint though. I thought after unlocking it should work with non Tmobile network, but looks like it's not the case. I am thinking to sell the phone as unlocked, but with this situation, it 's hard to list as unlocked? Although the imei check doesn't show OK, I tried Visible sim, it actually works. Any idea? Thanks.
The phone works on visible and Verizon. It just doesn't pass the imei checker. Those online imei checkers don't update their database for phones that were carrier locked but unlocked later even though those unlocked carrier phones may fully work on those carriers.
Some unlocked carrier phones may not be fully compatible with some carriers' network due to lacking of bands.
You can sell it as unlocked because it's indeed unlocked and works on other carriers. Just tell the buyer it is an unlocked carrier phone, not a factory unlocked phone.

Thanks for the advice and repped. The reason I am hesitated to list as unlocked, because lately I had sold a few LG tribute empire Sprint phones I bought during last years Sprint promo, the phones were all unlocked just like the A11 I did, the LG phone failed many carriers imei checkers, although I indicated such on the listing, I still have some buyers requested return, one buyer even set up google account lock and forgot the credential, so I refunded him, but unable to use the phone again due to the lock. So now I am trying to deal locally to avoid isuues. Thanks again.

If you list the phone as "T-Mobile samsung A11(unlocked)", and put a disclaimer that it's the buyer's responsibility to check carrier compatibility, you can refuse the return request.
Even some online phone sellers such as B&H, they put similar compatibility disclaimer on their websites for even factory unlocked phones. Unlocked phones don't guarantee carrier compatibility.

FYI - Cricket has 4 LG Stylo 6 or Moto G Power for $130 shipped. Just like the metro deal, you are paying for 1st month unlimited service. No free 5g phones, but deal is online and no hassle with in store, and no fees, so it's a win. I used ebay boost #s and got 4 Stylo 6's.

It is good deal. Not sure any address check like last time during iPhone SE2020 Cricket deal.

Few months ago I used eBay seller listing for unlock Google lock on my device for $3. But we need to use teamviewer for remote unlock.

Thanks. I refunded them to avoid their escalating to EBay, I heard that EBay mostly side with buyer, sometimes they take your money and refund the buyer, you end up with nothing.

Thanks for the info, I will check if I can find any such listing on Ebay, I tried some Youtube tricks, but it didn't work for me.

Correct. Visible compatibility check is very weird. I have two identical factory unlocked phones, one passed, one failed, both can use visible fine.

I found one for $5, the seller mentioned using teamviewer ? Just wondering if this is easy to do on our part? Thanks so much.

Yes it is easy. Download teamviewer and log off from any Google sync account and close any open files. They will connect through teamviewer id and it would take max 15 to 20 minutes based on Internet connection.

Today I got the N10 device with porting to basic plan 35$ and activation of total 57$. Once activated remove the security add on which will discount 5$ for next month payment.
On their website, shows 30 dollar plan and 40 dollar plan. Is your 35 dollar plan actually 30 dollar plan plus tax?
