Thanks. I refunded them to avoid their escalating to EBay, I heard that EBay mostly side with buyer, sometimes they take your money and refund the buyer, you end up with nothing.
EBay always sides with the buyer even if you specifically say "No refunds.". Any buyer can simply say "Product not as described" and give any reason to issue a return and refund. I have an unlocked Google Fi phone and will have later unlocked Tracfone phones. If I do sell which I probably won't, I would specifically say unlocked and then the brand carrier. I know Google Fi isn't the "carrier" as I believe they use t-mobile service but I know it is little bit different phone than the real unlocked model that I bought from Best Buy or Amazon. I read some people have issues with Verizon working fine with calls/texts but have a problem with the data. Also Verizon is moving to their calls being HD Voice LTE. Not a problem for me as I prefer at&t or t-mobile..... I wonder if the Metro unlocked phone (t-mobile) will have the same issue with Verizon sim card and its data..... I think Tracfone unlocked phone will be perfectly fine with Verizon as Verizon purchased Tracfone.

Yes, the sellers on Ebay are always in vulnerable position, especially selling electronics items, such as cell phones. a few years ago, I sold a very expensive audio receiver/amplifier, over $1000, it's well packed etc,. the buyer claimed that the receiver was damaged during transit, filed Ebay claim, I had to refund the buyer, paid both way shipping, as the item was heavy, it costed $100 each way, I ended up with a broken receiver with missing parts. I bought the receiver from Bestbuy on a clearance deal, hard to find, paid $650 for it, thought I could get $300 a pop, Stupid me, I was out $650, plus $200 plus shipping, I still have the broken receiver in the basement taking up space.

Not sure if the metro ( Tmobile ) phone unlocked have same issue with Verizon etc,.my LG tribute empire Sprint unlocked does not work with Tmobile for data, only voice and text. Go figure.

I tried to buy 2 more Boost port-in numbers from the same eBay seller that I previously had success with and he told me his numbers will not work with Metro anymore.

Is there any other way to do this that is still working?
I have the phones to my parents and now I need one for myself.
I believe I can no use Ting because I do not have a version or atnt phone laying around.

I only have old Metro phones.

I was thinking to get xfinity mobile $15 plan (1gb) shared across multiple numbers. Then use those numbers to port . I don't want rep to be able to find how long those lines were opened.

I did a while back with at&t prepaid, somehow metro was able to find how old the line was .

Those who've had the phone for about a month now, how much data did you use?

I'm at 32 GB + 5 GB from hotspot.

No the ebay seller told me so himself.
It is also listed on his ad that they will not work.
"Are" and "were" are two different things.
I successfully completed this deal last month.

Please don't take an iq test.
I wouldn't want you to feel demoralized.
News flash, it's a phone number not a social security number!
Besides I have 4 phones numbers that I've never used. I mean that is what this thread was about.
Remember.... The 4 phones for $120 most of us got.
The only part that is mind boggling is why it would even concern you.

oh ok.

good advice.

but honestly, im quite surprised u know the difference between a phone # & a SS #

seeing that its obvious u dont know which came first, 2017 or 2010.
(btw.....if u dont know what i am referring to , come back & i will spoon feed you the answer to that as well)

finally, no i dont know about the 4 phones most of u got for $120.
tell me more...sounds like a good deal
