Thanks for posting this!

I sold one of the phones, and the person couldn't activate it. So I closed the account completely down, and I think that'll resolve the issue.

Not sure if the N10 I'm keeping for myself will unlock now after 6 months...
you sold the phone within 30 days or 60 days? The imei should be cleared after 61 days.

This is how I did for a phone with an active account: I ask buyer contact me before they activate the phone to make sure that buyer receives it. Then I contact Metro PCS to switch the SIM card to other phone. Wait for ten minutes, then tell buyer go head to activate with their account.

Thanks for the info, if I didn't pay the 2nd month bill, now the account suspended, can I still ask them to switch the sim to other phone?

Got 2 OnePlus N10 phone in the end of January. Everything seemed fine with them. Now decided to give a gift to my kid to use on wifi only (have to wait about two more months for network unlock). It turned out one phone is defective. The fan inside sounds very loud and when youtube or netflix app is on the second the video starts the phone just completely turns off. There is no such problem with the other phone.
Can somebody advise what to do? As most here, I paid only for the 1st month of service only. 2 more months to wait for unlock. How can I get a replacement of warranty met (by Metro or OnePlus)? TIA

I know it's strange, right? Maybe it's something else (I'm not an expert in the phones components). But it sounds really loud, not always though. As I suspect it's a mechanical problem, but I really don't care. My goal is to have it exchanged, doesn't matter by whom (metro or by the manufacturer). I'm trying to find out how.

warranty is done by manufacturer. call them and ask for warranty.
