Why does Logitech insist on not making an actual BT remote that also has IR blaster so you can use multiple devices like older Roku boxes (using IR) and still use it to control other devices like Fire TV, etc without the need of something totally unnecessary as hub. I bought the hub set up for $60 before and it had nothing but problems, every command was getting delayed, sometimes confused and forgot what was on and what wasn't and kept things off or took forever to switch inputs.

I was hoping this $300 remote actually worked like BT remotes that can finally replace everything.

To expand on @CaptBoogerPant's reply. Yes it will. On harmony hubs you can have 1 screen remote (like the one here) and 1 non-screen remote (like the smart add-on remotes). That is what Logitech told me at least.

I love the Smart add on ones because when they sold them they were $30 a pop and I would let the kids use those and save the $300+ ones for adults. That way when the kids break a remote it's a $30 fix. (I keep 5 spares in the house and now comb ebay for more spares. We have 6 Hubs in our house)

Just got one from this site.. remote came with dirt and scratches - obviously not cleaned before turning it around out the door. Really disappointed with this purchase but will see if it even works now

I have an older, Harmony 650 which whenever batteries run low on it it seems to go through a cycle of repeating the tutorial each and every time you use the remote. This is extremely frustrating. The remote however, it does work for my purposes. Could anyone suggest a better replacement or upgrade? Thank you.
