I have had issues with my current one related to battery charge, it only lasts for about 20 minutes before it just drops from about 50-60% to 0% and shuts off.
I tend to only shave when I get itchy, mostly out of laziness. It "seems" like a razor like this would be less effort and maybe it could become daily.

I find this takes way less time and you look way more professional than shaving with a blade every few days.

I've often wondered if laser hair removal can make shaving obsolete.....

If you find a good solution, let me know - we're in the same boat

- As you said, the auto sensing can't be disabled
- The lock mechanism (for the head) didn't work well
- The display was very primitive (no shave time, no exact percentage of battery remaining)
I'm now waiting for a deal on the ES-LV65. Even though it's an older model, it's closer to what I'm used to.Also, for replacement foil and blades, you may want to consider the ES9036 instead of the ES9032: LINK [amazon.com]
The blades are the same, but the foils are different: LINK [shavercheck.com]
I don't mind spending $99 for this, but i dont think i want to spend $70 every year on blades
