Apple iPhone XS models (including large capacities and Max variants) are all $199 in-store at Walmart as of this weekend. Definitely a YMMV since these are not showing up in online inventories.

NOTE: Brickseek is showing "NO RESULTS" and Walmart.com is saying "Out of stock" for all SKUs (I checked them all). However, all 4 of the stores I checked in-person did have inventory. This seems very unusual, but I purchased a 256GB XS Max for $199 this afternoon at a store in my area so there are some models out there.

No contract/commitment required, but I believe these are only setup to work only with AT&T. I have AT&T so I haven't explored this further.

Clarification: No AT&T account info was needed to checkout. I just asked for the phone at the electronics counter, paid the total, and walked out. I charged the phone, swapped the SIM from my existing phone, and was up and running.

It's been for sale at least a week, chance of find it is slim, if you can find one, lucky you! Stoped 3 SoCal Walmart's all sold out at least a week. ( all 3 stores employees knew about the sales when I asked if have in stock. )

I found and reserved one in Chattanooga, went there and the ocp lady wouldn't give it to me. Told her to go on warp and sell it outright, device only. She said her boss told them not to do this and had disabled the option.

Only difference is screen size and battery size and ymmv(possibly max unlocked vs flex policy on xs)

Thanks OP, bought 2 XS MAX 64 GB. Didn't reserve it & went to nearest store & asked CSR to check. They had 4, bought 2 & left 2 for another slickdealer 😀. He did have to go through WARP but I did not have to give any of my details and just bought it outright.
