Apple iPhone XS models (including large capacities and Max variants) are all $199 in-store at Walmart as of this weekend. Definitely a YMMV since these are not showing up in online inventories.

NOTE: Brickseek is showing "NO RESULTS" and Walmart.com is saying "Out of stock" for all SKUs (I checked them all). However, all 4 of the stores I checked in-person did have inventory. This seems very unusual, but I purchased a 256GB XS Max for $199 this afternoon at a store in my area so there are some models out there.

No contract/commitment required, but I believe these are only setup to work only with AT&T. I have AT&T so I haven't explored this further.

Clarification: No AT&T account info was needed to checkout. I just asked for the phone at the electronics counter, paid the total, and walked out. I charged the phone, swapped the SIM from my existing phone, and was up and running.

Look up ZIP codes for Walmarts in rural areas and start going through the reservation process, repeat till you have several reservations at several stores. Drive to the stores and hope you can get a helpful associate, rinse and repeat.

Plenty of stores with stock that doesn't show them available for reservation. Your chances go down each day but if you want the deal you need to be willing to go into stores and several of them.

Hi all! I had luck yesterday with one of these phones with a Walmart employee. Have a couple reserved at another nearby Walmart but I will be buying from an OSL employee. Anyone have any luck with OSL employees? Will they sell the phones outright too??

Reservations do work and I got super lucky I got the most helpful walmart associate letting me purchase w/o a contract or limits. During the purchase it wouldn't let her checkout the iphone saying that it was reserved but it was my reservation that prevented her from checking out that phone. She looked in her reservation system, saw my name and confirmed it was me and removed the reservation allowing me to buy the iphone. I had gone the day before but the "warp" associate was gone for the day and the workers were clueless so I came early today when the warp worker shift started, it took awhile but got it done. I was ready to dispute and educated them if they denied me but thankfully it didn't go that way.
