They would be my hero if they came out with an Acrobat-like program. Imagine paying $50 for an Acrobat Pro-like app instead of the highway robbery prices Adobe charges!
Finally somebody took advantage of Adobe's greed.

I use SumatraPDF for my daily driver just opening PDFs for reading as it's extremely lightweight and FAST, but FoxIt when I actually need to add or edit things. Haven't touched Acrobat in years.
I use paid program PDFFILLER for office use extremely useful.
In past discussions on SD, people have mentioned they like Luminar as an alternative to Lightroom. I've used Luminar 3 a little bit and grabbed it when it was free but I haven't used it enough to see how well it stacks up against Lightroom.
How low has it been before, price-wise? looks scool.
I don't know, I got my original copy (v1) back around 2010 in a bundle, and over the years migrated to Art Text 3 via some deal or other, most likely an update bundle they offered.
I think I paid somewhere between $10-20 for my latest copy, which is most likely Art Text 3 (It's on another machine stored in a closet at the moment, so I can't verify the version)
Edit: as a bonus, in the mac app store - they offer a free "Letters" app that does a bunch of basic text design.
I'm getting an error redeeming the code. Adobe's website says this code has already been redeemed, it was less than 5 minutes after receving the code did I try and use it.
Chatted with staples cs and they say that are looking into it. Anyone else run into this issue?

I had recently switched to Capture One from Lightroom. Still getting used to it, but it's definitely comparable.
I saw that all Serif Software was 50% off, so:
Affinity Photo [serif.com] ($25),
Affinity Designer [serif.com] ($25),
Affinity Publisher [serif.com] ($25)
They've also got a 90 day free trial [serif.com] which I'm going to check out
I'm personally looking more into graphics nowadays, so I thought I'd pass this find along!
Great work. Which tools did you use?

I don't use Lightroom but I had a graphic design friend tell me that Luminar 4 is a good alternative. Affinity is a photoshop alternative
