These are regular sale prices, not really a super slickdeal.

Is the Gen 3 Surfacebook a ton better than gen 1 and gen 2? Was lots of problems in the previous generations of this model.

I have two surface book 2's, a 13" for work and a 15" for personal use. No problems on either one.

I have been using the first gen Surface Book for 3 year, and although it's better than any other laptops I have ever used (only PCs), it has few flaws which are pretty irritating. I am not a fan of the hinge design. On mine, the laptop thinks that the top is disconnected, even though it's connected, and deactivates keyboard, touch pad etc. There's ghost connection and disconnection between the top and bottom several times a week. The sound card for some reason stops working and I have to go to device control, disable the sound device and re-enable it for it to work.

I was able to fix my issues by cleaning the connectors with alcohol. The biggest thing i ended up not liking was the weight.

But definitely having held a surface product will make you realize how 'ugly' other laptops are.

1TB model in "used very good" condition for $1,766.39 AC on amazon warehouse. Looks like there's a few available. Might be worth the gamble.

Why not someone buy a similar specs LG gram or Lenovo carbon X1 around $1000?
Or MacBook pro for same price.
This is not a deal at all.
