Buying a laptop that might not come with factory warranty - that's foolish.
1100 dollars for a laptop with a 3060 is the best move imo. The desktop variant (which will be a bit faster) has a MSRP of 300 dollars now, but with tariffs its going to be 400+ easily. That's assuming you can even get your hands on one.
For 1100, you get an entire computer. Also folks who wants a gaming laptop are in a completely different market than those who want a desktop.
I've never had issues with pre-ordering from BB before.

While I am not sure how it works, for me the warning was triggered when I tried to return a creative soundcard. For some reason it was not returnable, when I asked the CS they said it cannot be returned due to some shipping concerns and gave me a return less refund.
So, I think they might be keeping track of the returnless refunds that one person gets, but again I might be wrong. I did find a lot of information on this on reddit with people getting warning and address bans.
I'm not doubting you. I know some people get banned.
Logistically I don't know how that would work. I have digital items, prime, some may have gift cards. Without refunding those how can a retailer ban.
I would actually like this to happen as it would save me loads of money.
From what I can tell you always need to search all departments for new arrivals to show up, and I don't know how you can do that with this search. Amazon pathetically, and counterintuitively, makes it as difficult as possible to find good prices on stuff.
Thanks for the reply. Ya, it was a one-off experience for me as I usually don't see that drop-down option. But I agree that they should be trying to move stuff out of the "warehouse" ASAP.
The issues seem to arise when people order new expensive electronics and make multiple returns of those. Don't use amazon as a product demo service, like ordering five laptops to see which one you like best.
That's right, use bestbuy to demo products. Just pay in cash 😂
I bit on the CM1100 as well. I received a refurbished model (has the Netgear Refurbished sticker on the bottom). Debated sending it back to try again with the Warehouse lottery, but figure at $96 it's not a bad deal, open-box or refurbished.
Mine was allocated to different account so need a trip to xfinity office to add it to my account.
After several conversations with CSR and them looking into the prior chat logs and phone calls, I was able to get them to send me a S6 Pure and will credit me the difference in price from the S5 they sent. They confirmed that it was a S6 Pure the day I purchased it so it is on them. They admitted that the website was misleading.

I got a $100 refund. So a s5 for $70 total, not bad.
Thanks. Thats for mountain biking. I need for a road bike.
I am a relatively serious road cyclist, prefer SPD pedals and shoes, as cleat does not extend beyond bottom of shoe. Pedals and shoes also tend to be cheaper, no issues on 50 - 60 mile rides.
