Microsoft has recently announced that the price of Xbox Live Gold is going up. The $60 1 year membership will now be $60 for a 6 month membership. If you are subscribed at the current rate they will honor a renew at your old price.
Retailers are now carrying the new $60 6 month cards. You can get ahead by stocking up on the old cards at their original price points being the price hike. This will make the gamepass trick more expensive too at the new price points, so now is the time.
I've provided a few good prices below. Take advantage while you can.
Costco: 2 years for $95.00

Target: 1 year for $59.99

I could see Sony slapping together some half assed version of gamepass, but i don't anticipate anything exciting. Sony has never excelled with PSN and I feel it has always been kind of a second thought. I can't see them doing anything mind blowing
And the deal between between Microsoft and Sony you mentioned is about Sony using Microsoft Azure.
Gotta love when people post bad information.
Considering that the price is going up, how many months can I lock in now to extend beyond 3 years?
I'll happily extend out another 2 years if possible to put it at 5 total...

Edit: Fark Costco, they keep cancelling my orders. Not even sure what's wrong as I've ordered from there before with the same payment info.
Apparently, once they cancel your order that still counts as a purchase so every subsequent order will be canceled due to exceeding quantity limits. So stupid...
Anyone here know if this gets "reset" at some point or if there is any other way around it?
Trying Newegg, they're the only ones that aren't charging me tax so I'm only paying about $15 more than Costco, it's not worth the headache to keep trying lol I've got like $500 in authorizations from repeated attempts.

There was an LG tv deal a few weeks ago and this ass clown was screaming up and down the thread that the tv doesn't have native 120 Hz, doesn't have this, doesn't have that, etc etc...
Of course everyone's TV had the advertised features and was a stellar deal for those who got it.
You remind me exactly of him...
Totally ignorant on the topic and blindly screaming opinions masquerading as facts. No ownership experience, no first hand knowledge. Just delusional opinions.
Seriously bud, I'm not trying to be mean but you should take a moment to reflect on how you're contributing to your fellow SDers save money and helping them score a good deal. B/C that's the end game for all of us here. We just wanna help each other get the best stuff at the best prices. Even if that means grabbing something for a lower cost now b/c it will go up in price tomorrow.
