My favorite site for this kind of info is Notebookcheck. What you can do is search the processor that is inside of your phone (or the phone you want to buy) and then it shows a collection of benchmarks for that processor, and that will include your phone, or the phone you want to buy. It can get kinda tricky if you are looking at older phones because after a while the benchmarks get updated to newer versions and you will not be able to compare across generations, but still it's better than nothing.
The Snapdragon 690 inside this phone is roughly the same performance as your Galaxy S9, but the Snapdragon 690 has a slower GPU, roughly half the speed as your S9
Maybe it's not as much of a concern at this price point, but OnePlus has gone on the record that this phone will never be updated beyond 2020's Android 11 (it ships with 2019's Android 10) and that all support (even bug fixes) will be dropped after 2022. Just a heads-up.
I've had this phone for 5 days now. I had a One Plus 6 before I got this. It does have pretty low specs which makes sense for a budget phone but it still gets the job done. I can game just fine and iPhone users don't complain about how blurry my pictures are anymore. There was a better deal in my opinion earlier this month where you could get it 10% off with a free pair of one plus buds which I'm loving so far. Basically one plus version of air pods.

Just FYI, as someone else was kind enough to point out in the last n10 thread, this phone only has 5g for tmobile networks. Here's[hothardware.com] the article they linked if you're interested in the details. If you're on Verizon or AT&T networks, then you're SOL. Also looks like it's missing bands 29 and 30 for AT&T. Not too sure how much of a big deal that would be. Might effect you if you have low signal, but can't find a definite answer on that. Still not a bad deal for a 4G phone given it's specs (decent camera, battery, enough RAM, etc).
I'm getting 5g with visible (Verizon) on it right now. Had to change it to NR/LTE/TDSCDMA/CDMA/GSM/WCDMA in the network settings menu. *#*#4636#*#* Unfortunately it resets to 4g if I restart.
I have the phone, but 5G doesn't feel like it even makes a difference for me. My speeds with 5G and LTE are the same. I just ended up disabling 5G, since it eats up more battery.
I get 5mbs 4g, 35mbs with lte+ and 50mbs 5g with Visible (Verizon). The key with buying a 5g phone now is future proofing. They're improving the 5g daily.
I bought this with 10% discount last week , and now they are selling this way cheaper than I paid with discount, so I contacted the customer service and they have offered me the difference, that's a great customer service. My credit card didn't have price protection so am happy with the purchase. Phone is good , for the enthusiastic people out there please check the bandwidth of your provider before you buy, if you check Willmyphone work website it would clearly explains, thanks
Yep, I just did the same thing and they refunded the difference to me. Great news!
This phone seems quite decent at the current price. Obviously you won't get the performance that you would get from a $1000 phone but then when you have to discard this phone in 2-3 years from now(which is is the average life of phone these days regardless of the cost)you won't feel that bad.
And your life would be a lot better if you focus your attention on real science, and actual content that adds value to your life than distract you with false information and worries.
I've seen people's lives go downhill / ruined by spending time on conspiracies / false information, to the point where they are paranoid and paralyzed by this false fears.
This first link(removed) has some valid concerns about the security and privacy implications of connected devices. However, that really has little to do with 5g or having a 5g phone.

This second one is filled with so much nonsensical junk that I would hope most well adjusted humans would not consider it real or rational. If you are not just trolling and believe this video to contain legitimate content I would urge you to consider reviewing actual science backed information and/or getting some help from a rational person you trust.

I suspect this phone could last longer. My LG v30 from 2017 still works just fine. Also have a Moto E2 from black Friday 2015.

I love how NOT having a headphone jack is a premium feature 😂
Low and mid-range devices never lost the jack. Only high end phones, because...companies can sell you dongles, Bluetooth earphones, streaming services, etc.
People that use low/mid tier phones are assumed to have less disposable cash.

One thing to say 5G is useless right now. Another to spread stupid uneducated 5G lies.
It is true. I ordered the phone last week. The 5G speed is less than 70Mpbs, I have to force it to on 4G LTE to achieve around $200Mpbs speed on T-Mobile

lol what a joke
1. Trade in my 128gb unlocked at&t iphone 7 plus for $450 off the $830 iphone 12 at T-mobile
or
2. Get the Nord N10 free
Which would be the better value? I don't really need to upgrade, it's just that I needed to add this line and have to pick a promo.
