As of right now, the only size missing is Black Medium. S through XXL is available in all other colors. No petite, tall, or plus sizes with this coat.

FWIW, got it for my wife and she loves it. The extra length def helps keep her warm. The deep eggplant color is great.

FYI, i have jacket with 650 fill and it keeps me warm here in NJ weather. I was told that 800 fill is required for Wisconsin and MN weather.

So one has to keep that in mind. 550 may not be that far off from 650 fill. But i dont have experience. May be people who have both 550 and 650 fill can comment.

So fill power is only half of it. Fill weight determines how warm a jacket will be as well. Most EB parkas are 650, and most have a pretty good fill weight. They have many down jackets that have very little fill weight as well.

Fill power is going to help determine the packability of a down jacket. That's not very important with a parka as packability wouldn't be a highly desired feature. The higher the fill power, the greater the compressibility.

A coat with 650 fill power can be warmer than an 800 fill power if the fill weight is much greater in the 650 coat. If both have equal fill weight, the higher the fill power will be the warmer option.

I live in NC and have a 650 EB parka that is my warmest coat. I also have a high end 850 fill down jacket I use for travel/hiking. Ultimately it's not as warm as my 650 EB parka because the fill weight is higher in the EB parka. EB doesn't list the fill weight on all their parkas.

The North Face uses 550 fill power in most of their coats. I doubt the fill weight is substantial in this parka. I own a vest in 550 fill power and it's warm enough for mild Winter weather. Anything in the 20s and you'd want to layer up. This is a no frills basic parka that appears to provide great value at the promoted price. It just doesn't have a lot of features and has a lower fill power than most EB parkas. 550 is really the lowest down fill power you'd want to consider IMO. EB has a great return policy if needed.
