The comment by JohnUSA full of misinformation, yet it's the highest upvoted comment. Why/how is this happening?
It's shown as the featured/helpful comment, and people think the information is correct, then thumbs it up. The issue here is the information is false.
Can't even downvote or report the comment on the mobile app, only upvote or reply.
What's the misinformation?
First part: the user can definitely disable wifi AND keep bluetooth on, allowing them to continue using the mouse via bluetooth. There are at least two replying comments informing said user of this. Said user found out they were wrong, replied, but as we can see, hasn't edited their original comment yet. So their misinformed comment is still featured at the top (#1), with at least 16 thumbs up currently.
The second part of their post: said user states that Logitech must "surely be dumb" for button the device switching button at the top of the mouse. I attached an annotated image of the mouse, and as you can see, the buttons are large and well separated imo.
It's convenient to not have to toggle a switch on the bottom of the mouse to switch devices. No, I'm not a shill for Logitech.
So what's wrong here? In summary, someone who is misinformed:
Part 1: Appears to not know the difference between airplane mode, and individual wifi and bluetooth toggles. Then types the misinformation into a comment, which then gets upvoted into a featured comment by misinformed people thinking said misinformation it's helpful.
Part 2: Has an opinion which imo hasn't been thought out enough. Opinions are fine, but said opinion was lumped in with misinformation, getting upvoted, then being a featured comment, and that's the first thing someone sees upon opening the deal.
Relying on misinformed users to go back and edit their comments is not ideal.
This is dangerous behavior @Slickdeals. I've been on SD since like 2009 or whatever, and well, this feature is just bad.
I hope someone at Slickdeals is listening, because this exact issue seems to happen on enough threads that I'm now typing this essay up.
PS: I have to log in to the desktop site to report a comment since it's not available on mobile. I get that it's hard to keep desktop and mobile in feature parity, but not being able to at least "undo" a misinformed comment on mobile either by downvoting or reporting? Come on team.

I don't think this one is as quiet as the M590 though.
Outside of that I love it, the 3 connections can be swapped seamlessly and is perfect for my WFH setup!
