No, even 10th gen comparable intel i5's get destroyed by this in CPU performance, IGPU performance, and battery life. Nice shilly miss-information you got there though!

I consider myself pretty tech savvy. But even replacing a HDD with SSD takes me over 15 min to do. And I have done it on various laptops 10+ times. The laptop screen is usually held on by structures much deeper than the drive and it involves proprietary display cable. There is also webcam in the way too. And if you look online, there are no short of examples of people ended buying mismatched screen. I would definitely not consider switching out the screen when buying laptop of any price.

Ram is upgradeable. 4GB soldered. Screen is 220 nits TN. If you are brave enough to replace the screen, this is a pretty good laptop.

Yeah not worth it. the Intel i3 10th gen version of this Ideapad 3 laptop with NVMe SSD was $299.99 at Best Buy multiple times in the past few months, and that one had IPS screen instead.

In my experience, yes. I prefer the Ryzen 5 over the Intel i5 because the integrated graphics performed better for me than the i5 did.
