Why do people hate these so much? Overpriced but they function well and are low profile, alot of integrated features with Android. Sound isn't enthusiast level but sounds good enough. I have one hidden under my beanie when I'm at work.
Great price, especially if they are just open box/like new. Best price I saw so far was $99 for Refurbs from Best Buy/eBay.
I agree, not sure why people hate on these so much. The original MSRP is quite bad, but at this price they stack up well and above several other competitors. Great integration with the Google ecosystem as well if you're using that (Pixel, Chromebook, Slate, etc).
Way too many hot garage buds floating in the $50-80 range, with a crap ton of Chinese knock offs for Samsung flooding the market.

I had them and they were unusable outside. Constant disconnects, and it's a widespread issue. I loved them but had to return because it was so bad.
Just ordered the Galaxy Buds+ but if I hadn't, I'd probably consider this just because of the price. They're not as good as the Buds+ or Airpods, but they're probably good enough for the price.
I have a set of these and I think they are great. They are light and you barely know they are there. Assistant integration is better than most ear buds. I don't use them for working out or running. I have a set of Sony's for that. The case is small enough to fit into your 5th jean pocket so I can carry them around without much issues.
Things I don't like
1) they fit well for stationary listening but they loosen up really fast when I'm eating. The cheurlhasbeenblocked causes them to move.
2) they have a find my buds feature but it doesn't unless the buds are on. The whole point is to be able to find them if you misplaced them somewhere in the house.
3) no noise cancelling. For most situations the volume is loud enough to block out sound but sometimes outside noise is too prevalent.

I watched and read a TON of reviews and testing before buying. I almost went for the Jabra Elite 75t, but the fact that you can't use those independently for calling, plus the poor call performance in loud environments (surprising bc it has more mics) was what pushed me to Buds+. I know the Buds Pro just came out, but I needed a pair asap and wasn't about to pay the $90 premium for ANC (which ever never felt I needed with silicone tipped in ear monitors) and additional waterproofing.
I'm sure they improved the sound a bit and maybe improved something else too, but I'm not an audiophile so I jumped on the Buds+.
Missed this deal but by far the cheapest I've seen and would've gotten a 2nd if it were a different color. Lol
I've had these for about 6 months from the Verizon deal. Absolutely would never buy full price but at $140 it was a better option than the buds+(for me) and at $75 that's slick.
I think the hate on these come from the Google brand. Since they're a big name they should pump out the best products and these actually meet all of my expectations. The wireless headphone market is insane and I watched a lot of videos before finally landing on these.
Things I like:
1) Google assistant integration (works with smart home devices and can read back notifications)
2) streamline look on case and buds (No stem to snag, snug fit in ear, and no glossy case to easily scratch)
3) All touch controls are functional on each ear and can even be used independently or sharing with another person(each person can have their own volume too!)
Things I don't like:
1) sound quality just ok. (Good for podcast/audiobooks but not enough bass for the kind of music I like and no EQ in app)
2) battery life (I only use 1 at a time usually but doesn't exceed 1 1/2 hrs)
3) Call quality (works best in quiet environments and for sure not while eating anything. The programing in these unmutes the mic when your jaw moves so the other person hears every crunch, munch and slurp. Not ideal)
Looking forward to Googles 3rd iteration of these.

Same. I really enjoy the buds + so far
