Best Washer/Dryer combo under $2000?

Hey guys,

I'm moving into my new house in a few weeks, and will be buying my first set of W/D ever! Very excited but not sure where to start. My budget is around $2000 for the set, but I might go a bit higher for something truly great and will last.

Hit me with your recommendations please. TIA.

If reliability is the main concern then I would look at Speed Queen. They have always had the best reliability and usually the longest warranty!

If you are looking for a top load, get the SQ TC5 series for $1400-$1500 and pair it with a basic Amana dryer for $500; you will be all set for $2k.
