This is the best vacuum. I bought one both for myself and parents about a decade ago. Replacing many many bagless pieces of garbage. I don't fall for the fake appeal of bagless vacuums. You have to frequently empty them, the internals get plugged, and it makes a mess while emptying. All to avoid a bag that lasts for many vacuum sessions and makes virtually no mess while being disposed.
Cleaning lady that comes once a month use sanitaire and I use dyson every week, the difference is day and night. I have been looking for a good deal on sanitaire to replace my dyson, is this comparable to Sanitaire vacuum?

Can the Sanitaire or Oreck do stairs, corners, and crevices between the couch cushions? What about for automotive use? Unless you have a hotel or a business office that uses standard low pile carpet, hence for "commercial" use, it ain't gonna cut it.

We got an old oreck from yard sale. It cannot do corners or curved places, despite having a good set of bristles on the side. But I still prefer to use oreck and then just use the dyson's attachment to clean the corners. Our dyson doesn't create a strong seal between the surface hence not enough suction or contact with carpet.
I know it is a bit time consuming but a cheap handy shark with something like this would be a great combo for the sake of having clean carpet.
I just got a shark duo for floors and use the old oreck in my room.

I use an Oreck canister for inside the house and a shop vac for cars. Many uprights have poor suction for attachments anyway.

Yeah, very similar. My dad had a Sanitaire in his business that the previous tenant left behind. Worked well. I would say the advantage of the Oreck would be buying it at this sale price and easier to get replacement parts and especially bags.
