Fast internet is what you need if you are worried about Nano seconds when buying and selling.
You may also want LONG battery life just incase the power goes out, you can use your cell phone hotspot and laptop battery... this will not do to well for that.

Cons:
- Battery life is pretty bad. If you wish to use it with power, it is OK. Doesn't last long on otherwise. For my usage, it lasts between 40 mins - 80 mins.
- Heating - With the powerful CPU and GPU, the heat generation is also high.
- A bit loud: With the all the fans to dissipate the heat, it could get a bit loud.
If you want a laptop with high specs with some portability or want something that is compact, go for it. If you are only looking for gaming, I would invest on a desktop.
I would not recommend a new laptop this month unless you have no choice.
Even with the Ryzen 4000, the best GPU's were the RTX2060... this will all change with the next gen AMD machines. It is probably a good time to buy AMD stock, I just hope they made enough product... but it seems they did (time will tell).
Of course, if you're willing to spend $500 or so more, just get the Asus Rog Strix 17 inch. It doesn't come with amazing 165hz 1440p with the base config but the combination of the 3070 and new Ryzen means exceptional performance. And most importantly, it runs incredibly cool!

I helped my cousin get the HP Omen with Ryzen 7 and a 1660Ti in August/Sepetmber.
And even if you are set on a MSI, I would still wait cause once the AMD machines are out... prices are bound to drop.
They are saying really long battery life.
If you want a big screen I think the Msi with the 1650ti for $750 would be a better fit, though you'll probably want to do a ram upgrade. You'd just need to buy an additional 8gb stick and install it.
Or the Bravo if you want a really great CPU.
