I'm no longer going to use my CO card in the future. I've watched all of the other companies improve their services over the years and CO has remained barebones with terrible customer service.
Re CapOne: Bad customer service from "Kyle" in Mumbai? Yes. Barebones? Not really. They generally offer 2% back and things like travel protection and rental car insurance. Its average. Thats why get Amex for services but also Discover for great customer service and a high CL (but zero services). Every card company seems to offer something unique.
Personally I like their card. I would recommend it especially for the no foreign transaction fees and standard 1.5% cashback.
My friend in UK has a UK issues cap one credit card.. can she refer me? If she can get $100 from my application, I will be happy.. kindly respond if you have seen this scenario
Wells Fargo is 2% CB instead of 1.5% but I only got credit line half of the one from Cap1.
EASY, pay your cable or phone bill, gas or insurance for your car if you have one. what else, regular shopping if you dont go to restaurants

Ahold of mine (walmart capital one) and made purchases in another state. Using a virtual card # somehow. They bought groceries ..
It is a soft credit check. I tried it and shows similar Quicksilver card but without welcome bonus and $39 fee as pre approved. I obviously want the bonus but just wondering if these 2 products even though almost similar have different approval criteria.
Tried pre-approval link. 830 fico, decline. Glad I only use pre-approval link.
