Device and charger need to support some kind of fast charging such as USB-PD (Power Delivery). As an example, the iPhone 12 can charge at a rate of 20 watts via USB-PD instead of the typical 5-10 watts of standard USB.

Yeah most of the time these Chinese brands are lying. Better off paying a bit extra imo. We've seen phones catching fires when used with crappy cables and chargers. Just not worth the savings.
