These series of monitors are great. I'm so close to buying this. I have the gigabyte G32QC and it's almost identical specs but has a USB 3 hub built in along with one of the best interfaces I've seen on a monitor. Would love to do a comparison video.

You can Google it, mainly there are 3 types:
IPS: better color and viewing angle
TN: shitty color and viewing angle but better response/refresh and cheap
VA: somewhere in the middle

i tried googling and it takes me into this different dimension where there's a trillion reviews of similarly priced and featured monitors that actually makes it more difficult to decide

your quick response was more helpful, thank you!

IPS for most daily production stuff due to crispness and color accuracy. If you are into gaming, probably look more at the VAs so you get a better response time. The VAs are supposed to have better blacks. I moved from a triple IPS DELL UltraSharp setup to a 49" ultrawide VA Samsung CRG9 and they are definitely different. While the VA Samsung does in fact have better blacks, it's only darker if you are sitting directly in front of it, otherwise it looks washed out from any other angle. I have no problems with coding or design on my VA, but if similar specs were offered in IPS at this size I would have taken that.

thank you for that

would it make sense that if i generally use 2 monitors, to get a VA gaming mon and a IPS work mon?

If you find a the same model on another popular site for a lot cheaper, make sure to look at the resolution.

I have a Gigabyte M27Q, which is an IPS monitor, and it is eye rape compared to my Monoprice 27" VA monitor. It literally hurts my eyes, even with all the settings turned on to reduce blue light w/ warm color palette.

As far as I'm concerned: VA > TN > IPS

I will be returning the M27Q and holding out for a VA with USB-C + KVM built-in. Too bad this Acer doesn't have those features, it'd be a perfect monitor.

I bought this monitor back in October, and I love it. Works really well for gaming and all the office applications I do. I wasn't too sure about the curved 32inch, but it works pretty perfectly.

Mine too!! It's painful to look at or play Warzone on.

Can you link to the monoprice please??

They no longer make it. Now all the monoprice 27" 1440p high refresh rate monitors are curved. Imo, only monitors 32" or greater benefit from being curved.

looking into buying this, but I found a reddit thread talking a lot of smack about it having problems with ghosting among other things. Can anyone who owns this weigh in on if this is actually a problem? doesnt seem to be many reviews out there

If you've never used an IPS, VA is probably fine. Personally I find VA's more straining on my eyes and the colors look more washed out compared to IPS.
