I thought it was a great deal until i found out that most of the parts are proprietary. Correct me if i'm wrong but even the GPU is their own custom GPU which means you can't just replace it with a full size 4070/5070 next time. There's also people complaining of thermal issues. That being said, ts a fantastic price @ $1199 for a 3070 but be aware of the limitations.

Considering the street value of even a used 3070 is north of $800 right now, this should sell out in all of about 6 seconds.

7 replacements? Your persistence is commendable.

Right. Eithercase, nvidia founders cards have not risen in MSRP and are selling for their original $500. (If you can someone get your hands on one.) Rumour has it, it's because these boards are assembled in Taiwan rather than china.

I just checked. It comes with the ultra-cheapo Dell keyboard and mouse. Still a decent deal though!

Can anyone comment on whether it's worth spending the extra $50 for liquid cooled these days?

Definitely a bunch of thread crapping going on to dissuade people from buying this deal for nefarious reasons.

I build my own computers 99% of the time and always prefer custom building myself. but this is definitely a great deal at the moment. Even if all the parts were at PRE-tariff MSRP, it still wouldn't be cheaper to build.

Remember, the value of something is based on how much consumers are willing to pay for it.

Simply being in stock , not to mention also being overpriced well above MSRP does not constitute as a "deal" lol no idea how you can argue that it is.

If that's the case the lowest buy it now price on ebay is also a deal lmao
take an economics course

Bad luck? I've had an R7 Aurora for 3 years now. It's used at least 12 hours/day for work, gaming, and VR, No issues. Also have a 5 year old Dell 7559 laptop that runs great still.
I have a M14x R2 since.... before Diablo 3 came out. Took apart many times to clean and repaste, one of the easiest laptops to work on. Still going strong as a Plex server!

Also went through the 17R4 issue with thermal pads, but took it apart easily and it was rock solid until sold.

Oh and my xps 12 is still alive after 8 years, although the CPU is useless it's fine as a guest Netflix machine.

Also had an X51 with no issues.

Oh and I got my ex a XPS 13 which needed a battery replacement that went bad, so they replaced the whole laptop.

Just my personal luck I suppose. And the other guys personal badluck. Shouldn't generalize either way 😛

Come to think of it, I'm a Dell fan.

I have an Alienware R11 (Intel 10700 + 2080S) from a BF deal in November. The stock fan system was loud under even moderate load. I added a Corsair H60 water cooling system and a Corsair ML120 Pro fan (~ $100 total) and now it's almost silent at idle and unobtrusive even under gaming load.

No coupons will work on top of this deal (except for Dell employee coupon).

Thanks

I have severe Builder's Remorse. I just finished building a computer about 3 weeks ago. I spent about $1000 and it's only equipped with a GTX1660-Super....that was all I could get my hands on!
buy this and swap cpu/gpu from your build and then sell this on CL/FBM. you should be able to recoup $.
