i.e. I'm probably going to be watching for sales on RAM and replace the 16GB RAM that comes with it with a 32GB set.

charged everything on amex with 10% cb to cover tax. paid extra so i don't have to deal with waiting for the deal tomorrow and potentially not getting it.
The reason is that 3rd party software may not properly ID OEM drivers and chipset.
It is also mentioned that Alienware Aurora is known to block out next gen CPU via BIOS so the CPU may not be easily upgradable to Zen3.
I think I'm going to pass on this, really good deal if you are happy with the specs as is, but my original plan was to get a 5000 series chip to swap out the CPU.
