Correct, the new version is out next week so we should see some nice markdowns on the old "style".

This post is more of a heads up to monitor local stock as you might be able to score this set for $50 on the next round of discounting at HD

Based on kreg main website it's 720/pro, 520pro, correct me if there's more. Looks pretty neat, but my r3 will still be good enough for my purposes.

I wouldn't assume that the price will significantly drop on the K4 simply because a new version is coming out. After all, the K5 has been out for years.

New version looks pretty nice. There's some good breakdowns on YouTube. They've eliminated the need to adjust the actual jig for depth, and added markings to the drill bit making it easier/faster to adjust the depth collar. You now have the option to turn the jig so that the board can lay flat as opposed to straight up in the air. Also built in some nice storage for the pro versions.

They have not come down in price yet. HD clearance is timing based, they aren't tracking product releases.

For those who don't want to wait you can pick this up today at ace for 71.99 (79.99 with a 10% coupon) or the master set for 98.99 (109.99 w/ 10% off)

For what it's worth they allowed 10% military discount on this item which brings it down to $67.50 + tax. YMMV may be store dependent as from my experience Home Depot typically does not allow military discount on marked down items.
